I have noticed that ESPN has a bunch of regional sites

ESPN Chicago

ESPN New York

ESPN Boston

ESPN Los Angeles

ESPN Dallas

It seems to me MAryland (or call it something different) deserves its own site. you have 2 NFL teams, and like NY you also cover both conferences with those teams Redskins & Ravens

In Baseball two teams also, covering both leagues again Nats & Orioles

1 NBA team

1 NHL team

and you know MLS WNBA all that stuff very few ppl care about.

NOw does it matter that there isnt one, probably not, but it would be open up opportunitys for all you lot who live over there for internet writing type roles etc etc.

Just find it interesting that the Washington area supposedly known as a Sports hot spot, particuarly with the Skins seems to get ignored by the National MEdia
