Redskins Add Draft to Linebacker Corps

The Redskins have signed veteran linebacker Chris Draft, the team announced on Friday.
Another solid Veteran to challenge the younger players, If you look at New England and who they add each year, along with all the Draft picks they always seem to pickup the solid Vet players who fit into their system, which is not always the big name player, see Jason Taylor. A LB who fit's into playing this system. Really only leaves 2 roster spots open for all the "Try-out" players this weekend

You gotta figure Haslett knows what he's getting in Draft

I think we are all hoping a younger player beats out Draft for a roster spot, but as we have all said before, these coaches are not afraid to play the best guy no matter how unsexy the decision looks.

Eventually through sheer probability your gonna turn up someone who can help. I’d be more excited if he had experience in the 3-4 though.

Competition is the name of the game. Over 110 players in mini-camp gives Shannahan plenty to find the diamonds in the group. Redskins want the best players available so invite everyone who might be able to play.
