Rex Grossman , Larry Johnson , Willie Parker , Competition or trade bait ?

To be or not to be , that is the question

After sitting here getting drunk and thinking of all the recent post and rumors, I began to wonder if this could be a possibility , We all seem to come to the conclusion that the signings of Rex , Larry and Willie are for depth and for competition , Not sure if this could happen but...... ( im drunk lol, bare with me)  maybe we have signed these players for trade bait  in the draft , im sure we could trade 1 or 2 of the 3 for a pick or two in the draft with out hvng to trade Moss , Cooley or Davis , hell maybe even a second rounder for Carlos and Willie or Carlos and Larry , ( sorry Carlos) I just dont think anyone will give up a second round pick for Carlos himself , We all know that having two second round picks could help us out alot , So if this were to happen , My picks would be if avaliable , 1st round Okung, if hes not avaliable , trade 1st rounder for a second and 3rd round pick , IMO no need to go defense in the 1st round because they are good enough to get the job done ( top ten defense ) im sure, pick up Gaither , from Baltimore , and second round go O -lineman and RB ,3rd (if applies)go LB just for shits and giggles, 4th take a shot at another RB to give ourselves a little bit of comfort that we may have a good future player in the backfield , as for the quarterback position i think we should stick with a Jason and Colt competition ( good enough for now) and with this formula we may be making post about our chances in the playoffs sooner than later.
