Redskins 2010 Schedule
2 SNF games, 1 MNF game -- we open the season with the Cowboys at home on national television... That should be fun. MNF is Eagles at home. In fact, all of our prime-time games are home games, which will be great for the fans if we're playing good ball... 'Skins play Aaron Rodgers and Peyton Manning back to back... And also will see Brett Favre.

4-12 again. I just don’t see us competing.
vegas knows best
the skins opened at 75-1 (to win the SB) last week it was 12-1.
apples to apples here: you can get similar odds on the Texans and Titans. odds are even longer for the Bears.
the only games we didn't know about were St. Louis and Tampa
who are picking #1 and #3, respectively.
That was nice of the NFL. I mean, we could have gotten the Cardinals and the Saints, or the 49ers and the Falcons.

No, we knew
You always play the 2 other NFC teams based on where you finished in your division. We finished last, so we got the last place team from the South and West. Not a lot of surprise when it comes to opponents year to year.
Dammit...can't buy tickets until August...
(at least for the Rams game which is the closest to me…)
How sad it it...
That for THREE YEARS RUNNING I am fearing playing the Detroit freaking Lions?
Be prepared
for lots of replays from last year.

I think it's b/c we're both 4th place teams
which means we get matched up in the 2 scheduled games that aren’t dictated by division match ups.
"By far the worst performers on the team are in the front office." – Sally Jenkins
I must be getting old...
Because I don’t like that all the night games are at FedEx. It sucks getting home after midnight on a Sunday/Monday night. At least the last night game is Nov 15, so it shouldn’t be freezing.
Realistic

Final Outcome 6-10
Washington gets to enjoy another Top 10 pick, but at least we only traded away the 4th rounder this year.
Wow!
I have only 1 more payment for my season ticket (from a friend). To think I will practically get to see the cream of the NFL in just this season’s home games is awesome. I just hope we are competitive. If we can get through this schedule it will do a lot for building our future in terms of confidence and buy-in to the Shannys’ way of doing things.
Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana.
great
home schedule this season…good teams ..
A lot of them are the late Sunday games or prime-time games
Some fans who attend games like the early Sunday games (like me). Then again, it benefits those who watch games on TV.

Jan. 2: vs. New York Giants (LOSS)
Bottom line: 7-9 overall, 2-4 in the NFC East, 2-6 at home, a surprising 5-3 on the road. I could live with this as a transition season, although 2-6 at home would be hard to take. I think the Eagles will take a step back this season (Kevin Kolb winning your Scott Mitchell “flash in the pan” award). One problem with the evening prime time games – some of our worst losses in the past several years have been on prime time games. We are 0-6 over the past two years in prime time, and except for one year (2007) of Gibbs II, we’ve come up small on the big stage over and over again. Having to listen to Philly fans during that horrific 37-7 beating on MNF during the Spurrier years is one of my worst sports memories ever.
A couple of lucky breaks ...
Outside of the required division games, the home schedule is really tough (Colts, Texans, Packers, Vikings, with one easy game against the Buccaneers), but the road schedule is fairly weak (Bears, Lions, Titans, Jaguars, Rams). The bye week is right at midseason and the team never plays more than two games in a row at home or on the road. If we were truly a team on the rise, this would be a good menu for stealing into the playoffs. I see us as merely regressing to the mean this year; 2011 would be the season for making a serious move. Which, of course, virtually guarantees a lockout. Not that I’m pessimistic or anything …
MY $0.02 with reason
Sept. 12: vs. Dallas Cowboys (Sunday Night Football) LOOSE
we loose by a close one due to the fact of us not gelling together as of yet. It will be a competitive game but the cowboys are familiar with each other.
RECORD: (0-1)
Sept. 19: vs. Houston Texans WIN
there passing game is good, but with a new co-ordinator and a fare defense? not sold on the texans success in the air. We win due to our run game and our secondary play
RECORD: (1-1)
Sept. 26: at St. Louis Rams WIN
rams org is in dissaray
RECORD: (2-1)
Oct. 3: at Philadelphia Eagles WIN
Not sold on kolbs week arm and the run game will not save them. I am betting our offense lights them up due to the run game and MCnabbs sure will
RECORD: (3-1)
Oct. 10: vs. Green Bay Packers LOOSE
They are a better team, but at this point, not by far
RECORD: (3-2)
Oct. 17: vs. Indianapolis Colts (Sunday Night Football) LOOSE
What do you think
RECORD: (3-3)
Oct. 24: at Chicago Bears WIN
No no.1 or 2 reciever and the run game lost a few steps. peppers will not save them and lovie will be on the extremely hot seat
RECORD: (4-3)
Oct. 31: at Detroit Lions WIN
we will out coach them
RECORD: (5-3)
Nov. 7: BYE
Nov. 15: vs. Philadelphia Eagles (Monday Night Football) WIN
They will be around 4-4. this will be the point of our season that will make or break us. it will be a close game, but we should gell right at this point to win the game. our winning this game started last month in the minds of the locker room. going into this game, we already improved stats wise from the zorn era. great momentum.
RECORD: (6-3)
Nov. 21: at Tennessee Titans WIN
minus chris johnson, the offense is slower then our defense. there defense lost a lot on the line and there secondary is below average. we will be the better team at this point
RECORD: (7-3)
Nov. 28: vs. Minnesota Vikings LOOSE/WIn
With favre Loose, w/o WIn
RECORD: (7-4)
Dec. 5: at New York Giants WIN
The org is collapsing from the inside out. players dont want to play there n e more. coughlin is on his way out after this season
RECORD: (8-4)
Dec. 12: vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers WiN
It doesnt matter who they pick, ZORN beat them last year. Better Coaching equals more turnovers and TD’s
RECORD: (9-4)
Dec. 19: at Dallas Cowboys WIN
WE will believe we can win the super bowl and we will-will ourselves to win in a shoot out
RECORD: (10-4)
Dec. 26: at Jacksonville Jaguars WIN
We are the better team
RECORD: (11-4)
Jan. 2: vs. New York Giants LOOSE
RESTING PLAYERS
RECORD:(11-5)
there should be no reason we are not at worst, 10-6 or at best 13-3

i can think of one reason
we were 4-12 last year
by John Park Williams on Apr 21, 2010 1:32 PM EDT up reply actions
we literally have a new team on all 3 sides of the ball...
plus new coaches and strenght and conditioning his is not the redskins org of the past 10 years…we all sense that

Just so I never have to read this again
You mean “lose” not “loose”, one O not two.
I've got a feeling we go 9-7 then one and done in the playoffs
Picking individual wins and loses is mostly horse shit cause teams come out of nowhere as well as injuries and other crap and anything can happen. I feel that the presence of McNabb will benefit us more than we think. I mean we haven’t had a great QB here since arguably Brad Johnson in 99, and he took a team with a porous D and great offense to the divisional round.

ouch
The usual NFC East games plus the Texans, Packers, Colts, and Vikings, as usual a rough schedule but that’s what you get in the NFC East.
At least we’re not Cowboys fans who’s be crying about it.
