Denver just cut Chris Simms who has ties with Kyle Shanahan. Stay tuned...Redskins do still need a QB backup.

No No NO no NO no NO

We do NOT need Simms. Denver traded for BRADY FRICKIN QUINN because Simms was their only option at backup QB. This guys best 20 minutes have come and gone. Granted, it was probably in the game he beat us, but still. He’s done.

HAHAHAH!!!

Chris Simms?!?

He single handidly won the game for Washington when Denver came to town.

How come Colt hasn’t been given a shot @ back up? Is he that sorry?

He will be given a shot (so far)

But he had such a horrible pre-season, plus coming off an injury…I would be making plans to upgrade if I could.

I'd rather have sexy rexy.

I'm worried about the beer supply. After this case, and the other case, there's only one case left- Barney Gumble

seriously, if you were a free agent qb, would you want to come here. i mean, shanahan is a def upgrade, but it is your health you are talking about. all things being even remotely equal, i would at least wait to see how they rebuild the line before committing to this team- unless i really did not believe i would be picked up somewhere else- ala simms lol

wow

This guy has never had any success in the nfl. I dont see how he would be a good backup. His father was a master of choke, Chris will never be any different

Agreed about Chris

He’s already notched one W for the Redskins, although he was with Denver at the time.

But his Dad? Was NOT a choke artist. He lit it up in a Super Bowl, dude.

Something like 21 out of 23 completions

Don’t ever hear of him being a choke artist – unless it was Purcells jabbing him.
