So after a pretty dull day of shoveling snow and and evening of helping my friend move her car out of the snow, I sit in front of my computer to look at this great forum of intellegent comments and not so intellegent comments.  I usually make my way to HH through yahoo starting at the front page where I notice the  most searched for words today are Bill Clinton and agnostic.  Hmmmm.  Anyway, got to the sports section noticed that not much on the football page has changed so I scroll down and click the link to the HH homepage. 

The normal flow of things goes that I check to see what comments of mine have had replies and then look into other conversations on topics that don't take ludicrous turns (you know, like drafting tebow with the first pick logic).  What happened tonight was a bombardment of purple advertisement that surprised and confused me.  Low and behold, all the advertisement space on the site are KY jelly intense lubricant ads.  Whoo hoo.  That's what I really want to see.  A product that I will never buy littering my screen.

Now I know that websites need to advertise to keep the website rolling but that's not what I'm getting at.  Please, if KY is giving you money for the advertisement, that's great, but the should be no reason why there is more purple on the screen than Burgandy and Gold.  And come on, KY Jelly?  The only time KY jelly should be involved on a football website is if there's a link to a Female KY Jelly wrestling clip on youtube (or if cheerleaders are involved...). 

This is just my honest opinion and I'm not really here complaining expecting something will happen, because the site has the right to advertise what they want, but if you are making a lubricant ad on a predominatly male visited site, you could at least include an interactive ad...
