Redskins Lunchbox: Talking Cowboys & Jaguars
Kenny and I debate about key players that won't be here next year and get you ready for the Jaguars game. I have my first moment where I need the beeper to cover up a not so kid-friendly word. Enjoy.

Great fun video.
The game in Jacksonville will be not blacked out- that’s official- by the way that means 0 blackouts in Jackonville in 10 games (inc. pre season) so rigt now; ticketsales are fine for the Jags. For now,.
As for the game on Sunday, here isa little preview from the opponent
As for the game; it will be interesting; how thee Jags will react after the tough loss iat Indy. They still got a chanc to win the division with a little help (for exapomle from Oakland on Sunday) but they need to win out.
MJD was banged up with his knwee last week; so as Vince Manuwai the LG; who were key in those 6 100+ rushing yard games for him. But the passing game looks fine. Garrard just took broke the TD pass/season record(20) from Brunell. He has 22 now. ANd he played just 12 and and a half games. Watch out for TE Marcedes Lewis (9 TD).
As for the defense- I expect a big day from Chris Cooley- Jaguars have major issues covering great TEs. The secondary is awful. But the front 7 plays quite well most of the time (But in the last 2 games; the run defense maybe stepped back a bit.Aloowing 100+ games to McFadden; and Donald Brown).

I have been surprised by the Jax "fanbase" this year...
I just moved here Last Sept. and they seemed non-existent. That, and the fact that everybody went ape-shit when they didn’t raft Tebow
that wasn't supposed to post yet....
anyway, they have definitely been stepping up as the year has progressed. I was surprised to see that after the Indy loss there were a lot of fans wearing their colors and flying the pennants on Monday, maybe they will end up sticking around after all. Not sure about the blackouts though, They are usually on TV during the Skins games and I watch our game online and have the jax game on TV with no sound, the place looks nowhere near sold out. ( there is often no NFC 1:00pm game televised here, pisses me off to no end)
Id rather have Garrard than Tebow, he doesnt really have that good of an arm..
doubt heel develop a much better throw..
I agree....
I like Garrard, he is definitely a gamer (not that Tebow isn’t, but Garrard is definitely the more talented pro QB) I like the Jags in general, I have a feeling though if you guys end up missing the playoffs there will be a massive turnover in personel. Do you Del Rio’s job is in jeopardy if you miss the playoffs?
McNab
I believe if we stay with Grossman we will win!! Let Shanahan coach the way he wants and stop the soap operas during the week. Let Shanahan run the show!! Don’t get me wrong I like Mcnab but, I feel as though the front office brought him in and is still trying to run the show.
Again, let Shanahan run the show. I like McNab and think he is a great quarterback but if you want to win then don’t let your feelings get in the way let Shanahan do what he wants then next year we will be in the play offs. That is the only way we are going to do it.
Just like Marty a few years back, if we would have let him run things we could have made it to the Super Bowl. It is time to run it like a business not a soap opera.
I don't know about playoffs next year, but.....
The whole “soap opera” angle is a big reason that I am all for starting Grossman next year. (even if we do draft a QB #1). If Grossman gets benched at some point it’s not going to be a national front page story….every word he says won’t be repeated, ad nauseum, on ESPN and all over the net. We just don’t need the distractions….we can’t handle anymore distractions like that.
