DOGFIGHT II---THE SEQUEL: My Eagles/Skins Preview

*Primetime hatefest comes to DC Monday night. A long wait for football-starved Skin fans coming off the bye......

Star-divide

*The last time the  Washington Redskins (4-4) saw Michael Vick, he was being carried off  Lincoln Financial Field and into the locker room a month ago. A vicious sandwich hit near the goal line did both rib and cartilage damage. It ended his day early and was the defining moment in the Skins’ 17-12 road win over the Philadelphia Eagles (5-3). Vick had been out of commission ever since, but reemerged on Sunday in impressive fashion against the defending AFC champion Indianapolis Colts. He completed 17 of 29 passes for 218 yards and a touchdown and has yet to throw an interception this season. Vick also scrambled for 74 yards and plunged one yard for the fourth-quarter score that proved to be the difference in a 26-24 victory. He appears to be healed up.

I'll have what you're smokin'
Still, I see a wild offensive shootout in which the last team with the ball in regulation wins. Joey Galloway scores his first touchdown since the Clinton Administration.

The Redskins have no idea what a “wild offensive shootout” looks like and it remains to be seen if McNabb will be upright for most of the game since the OL is looking worse every week. The Skins were lucky Vick went down the first game. If he plays like he did against the Colts….well lets just say it won’t be pretty from our perspective. You seem to forget this defense gives up the most yards in the league…not just the NFC East. And remind me what Galloway has done for the Skins this year. He can’t seem to outrun his walker. Same for Roydell Williams…another loser on the roster.

Other than the Joey Galloway part...

I would agree with your pregame predictions. i also hope that they make Vick throw the ball, I think there are a whole lot of int.s just waiting to come pouring out. Hope we can bottle up DJ ( even tho he is on my FF team ) & I agree that we will need to pu up a fair amount of points this week. I predict that DM has his best game as a Skin.
