Around SBN: NFL Players Ready To Welcome Gay Teammate

Wishes do come true....Galloway Out....Austin In!!!

There has been a clamor and it appears some wishes have been granted.  Latest news out of Redskins Park is Joey Galloway has been waived....Terrence Austin has been signed from the practice squad!  Galloway actually had a pretty impressive career....over 700 rec, 10,000+ yards and 77 TDs.  However...it appears the game has passed him by and this move was beyond due for the best of the team.  I welcome Austin and some more youth into our roster and hope he gets an opportunity to shine.  Here's a good ole' HTTR to Austin fairing better than our recent WR draft picks of the past!

ITS ABOUT TIME!

It’s amazing it took 11 weeks for the coaching staff to realize that Galloway wasn’t helping but better late than never I guess. Welcome Austin!

Some people still thought

he was a legitimate starting WR.

???

This should send a clear message to the rest of the team that it’s not OK to be old AND sucky. You have to choose one or the other if you want to play for the Redskins.

Hahaha

So old is ok, and sucky is ok. Just not both? And FINALY!!!

Ha. I get what you are saying there. Nice. Can’t disprove it though, and that is sad.

Then why is D.Thomas gone?

rhetorical and sarcastic

Twas a dark and stormy night when Tony Romo turned his key...
He was scared about the prospect of going back to D.C.
When he entered his room he saw some crutches wrapped in a bow...

FINALLY!

One of the most annoying things about watching games all year was hearing the announcers say Galloway was in a play. It almost always meant disaster was soon to follow.

ha ha

I thought the same thing. Everytime they call his name, I know some bad shit’s gonna happen.

About time

anyone with football knowledge was able to see he shouldn’t have been in the NFL anymore.

I wonder how much

This has to do with Moss. Don’t get me wrong, there is no doubt that Galloway belongs in a rocker. And I’ve been one of many who wanted to see Austin promoted. But I’m thinking the timing of it was says its more a result of Moss’ injury. They know they need more.explosiveness with ‘Tana being hurt (or out), so they take a chance on the young buck and dump the geezer.
Either way, I’m fine with it. Long overdue.

So maybe with Moss out

and Galloway finally released, our WR’s will look something like this:

Armstrong
Banks
Austin

Short, yes, explosion and speed; pleanty.

I’m just praying no R Williams.

Out of curiosity.....

whom would you want to be the head coach and GM of this team…..that is or was available at the time of the Allen/Shannahan hiring? Cowher doesn’t want to coach here….so leave him out!
