I was on travel this past weekend in Chicago and missed the Redskins game. I only caught some brief stat updates and radio clips on my phone. This unfortunately is the third game I missed this season (hard being an adult now having to travel for work).
Anyway, the Redskins are 3-0 in the games I missed this season (Eagles, Packers, Titans), so the "Redskins I've watched" are 2-5, which is very depressing since I seem to only catch all the bad parts of this Redskins' season. It's gotten to the point where the superstitious side of me thought that maybe the Skins would win the rest of their games if I stopped watching altogether. This led me to an interesting philosophical debate with my fiance:
Is it better to be a fan of a perpetually winning team that you never get to enjoy seeing a single game or a fan that gets to watch every game of a team that is never better than mediocre?
I am curious about the thoughts on this by other Redskins fans since we've been mediocre at best over the past two decades (seems like forever).
