Well it's that time of year again, you know the time when the skins season starts to look bleak and the blog is flooded by all the Negative Nelly's that have been waiting to post until things turned sour...

I know the loss still stings and we can blame it on the refs or our O-line or whatever you want... Still doesn't change the fact that a Loss is a Loss and we said the same ad nauseum to the Detroit fans that listed themselves as 2-4 before the game.

But lets not forget about the tiny glimmer of hope we all saw on sunday.

Brandon "The Bullet" Banks

This guy is a threat any time he touches the ball to take it to the house. I remember saying right after the lions scored to take the lead, "well thats okay cause Banks is just gonna return this kick off for a td anyways" okay okay i say this everytime before a kick off, but hot damn he gives me some decent odds of being right!

Here's hoping he can break a few more of them before the rest of the league wises up and starts giving us the ball at the 30-40 instead of risking a td by kicking to Brandon Banks.

We got two more weeks before we hit the national stage vs the eagles here's hoping we can put this game behind us and focus on the next 8. A big win over the Eagles with a solid performance by McNabb is just what we need to get back on track, we also got two weeks to find a way to get Banks a few touches on offense too (but hopefully we can't because he's too winded from taking another one to the house)
