Even with Coach Shanahan, the Redskins continue the trend of adding Miami University players to the team...next up is Javarris James. Javarris went undrafted in this year's draft, but was signed and released by both the Colts and Patriots so far. Yes, two teams desperate for RB depth didn't have room for him on their practice squads.

It's not so cookie cutter though. The Pats and Colts run a spread offense, which some players don't fit...as we saw with Joey Galloway's release in New England.

An interesting sidenote is Javarris James broke Clinton Portis record (most yards rushing for a freshman) by 1-yard running for 148 versus Houston. I'll update the post when I know who was cut to make room for James.
