Redskins fans

I was being a little nosy at work and look at what I stumbled upon. Some blog poster is seriously calling this a "WIN" all things considered for the Lions:

Call me crazy but let's look at the situation. They played their 3 division foes all on the road and lost all three (and got hosed in Chicago). They lost to the Giants (barley), Philly (barely). The team is either gelling or turning to jello. So of the remaining 7 non-division games only New England and the Jets look like (on paper) loses. Buffalo, Tampa Bay (regardless of what their coach says), and Washington should be wins (on paper). The key then is the non-division games on the road at Dallas and Miami. Win one (or both) of these and win and the three division games at home against our pansy foes. Viking are dead with brutal schedule and over the hill Favre, Bears are showing their true selves with Martz, Marenelli, and Lovie and Green Bay choking all over the place. So 8-8 is plausible and could win the division.

The more I read around the internet, the more it seems as though the vast majority of people are thinking that the team that we put out on the field THIS Sunday is the same team that barely loss LAST YEAR!!!!!!  Maybe its just me but since when did a record of 1-5 make any team or fan for that matter feel as though any game that they play is a "gimme"??? Am i the only one who thinks that Matt Stafford had this game circled on his calendar as his "comeback" game??? Does he really think that he can just come out and shut THIS defense down?

I for one am infuriated by the lack of respect that this team is getting! Sure, it may not be pretty, but we are "WINNING"! Since when was winning such a bad thing? I don't know whats going on!

Anyhow, i guess you have to be confident in your team if you are a true fan. I do, however, think that its a problem when you are a "1-5" team and still feel the need to call yourselves good! You are what your record says you are!

LIONS FANS!!!!! U ARE A 1-5 TEAM!!!! ONCE YOU START WINNING CONSISTENTLY, THEN MAYBE YOU COULD START CALLING WINS AND LOSSES!!! REMEMBER, LAST YEAR WE WERE A BAD TEAM THAT LOST TO ANOTHER BAD TEAM WHO HAPPENED TO WANT THE WIN MORE! THIS IS A DIFFERENT REDSKINS TEAM AND YOU WILL WITNESS ON SUNDAY!!!!!
