Hi, just wanted to wish you Redskin fans a good luck when you take on the Bears this Sunday. The Bears aren't who they thought they were and exactly who we thought they were.
The Bears offensive line is atrocious, if those Bears fans had the misconception that there was a worse offensive line than theirs, well they were dead wrong. They have given up a league high 27 sacks in just 6 games, half the reason is Mike Martz's scheme, while the other half is the lack of talent.
Jay Cutler likes to hold onto the ball too long as well, and their 4-2 record is misleading. They technically won against us, but it was because of a bogus call (
Calvin Johnson's game winning TD "non" catch) that everybody knows is bogus. They are revising the rule as of late because of all the heat it's gathered from everybody in the league, they beat a strangely weak
Cowboys team that beat itself all season, they beat a
Packers team decimated by injuries, and a
Carolina Panthers team that...well, it's self explanatory. So, they haven't really beat anybody credible, got blownout by the
Giants and lost to a weak
Seahawks team at home.
They are definitely beatable and I think McNabb can throw the ball all day long against that weak Bears secondary. The Bears do have a pretty good front 7 and Devin Hester is a monster on kickoffs/punt returns, but that offensive line is choking the life out of the entire team. I doubt that they can fix it either, you can't mask talent deficiencies with less talented players. Redskins should win this one with the arm of McNabb and a steady dose of Clinton Portis or Ryan Torain or whoever is running the ball that day. Even if the Redskins give up some points, it should be a win for them.
Redskins 24, Bears 17
