My Picks for Sunday

Jets @ Colts -7.5 ... over/under 39.5

The rookie QB certainly comes into play here, but Sanchez's 92.2 QB rating is certainly something worth noting. I think it is absurd the spread is 7.5, and I will gladly take the points. The Colts ranked dead last in rushing yards per game in both the regular season and playoffs. With Revis taking out Reggie Wayne, and the safety/LB focusing on Dallas Clark...I don't see this game being a cake-walk for the Colts. Give me 7.5 points? Hell yea. Plus. the Jets proved two times they are not afraid of the road. Matt Stover is not what he used to be, so that could prove problematic with long field goal situations for Indy.  Jets +7.5 and the under.

Vikings @ Saints -3.5 ... over/under 53

This is a bet I love. I'm taking the Vikings in a heart beat. The Saints secondary has been a patch job all year, and it's not going to hold against the NFL's #2 offense. The Vikings truly have balance on both sides of the ball. The Who Dat's have protected Brees well only allowing 20 sacks in the regular season and 0 against the Cowboys last week, but Jared Allen is a force and will reek some havoc. Either way, this is poised to be a shootout, and I like the over in this one. Shockey is still questionable for this game. Vikes +3.5 and the over

Comment below your picks for both the winning teams and the  over/under...whoever gets them all correct (first comment to do so) wins the copy of Karl Mecklenburg's book we reviewed.

I'm not sure what over/under means

outside of the bedroom. But here’s a guess:

Manning finds a way; Sanchez throws one pick 6; under
Vikes in a barn burner; the legend of the Brett continues; over

Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana.

gotta take the

Colts to cover the spread and the Over
Vikes get it done thanks to their ear plugs and silent count and i’ll take the Over in this one too

Miata time :)

Colts walk away with an issue but falls under the 39.5 total points 24-7 Colts

Saints and Vikes is a the bet I hate, two high powered offenses, in a dome….becomes a defensive struggle.
Gotta believe it will be a defensive struggle for most of the game Vikes best Saints 20-17 or Saints best Vikes 20-17 either way it’s an Under and Vikes given the 3.5

20-17 or 20-17

Makes it 20-17=37

As a tiebreaker

So that multiple people can do the same picks, include the total points scored in the Vikings game. Closest to it without going over will be the tie breaker for those that get all 4 right.

"It was one of those things where everyone in the building was suddenly excited again," Cerrato said. "And all the women in the building were the most excited. They couldn't believe we were getting the guy from "Dancing With the Stars."

I could use a good book.

I have to take Peyton and the Colts to cover and the over.
Colts-27, Jets-17
Brett will be Brett and gag with 3 interceptions as the Saints cover in a lower scoring game then people think. I will take the under.
Total points: Saints-23, Vikes-14= 37 pts.

I'll put a game thread for the 2 games on Sunday

You know, so we can all talk about how the Redskins should sign Favre this off-season and all.

"It was one of those things where everyone in the building was suddenly excited again," Cerrato said. "And all the women in the building were the most excited. They couldn't believe we were getting the guy from "Dancing With the Stars."

Same story...different year

Favre will let us know the 2nd week of pre-season.

"It was one of those things where everyone in the building was suddenly excited again," Cerrato said. "And all the women in the building were the most excited. They couldn't believe we were getting the guy from "Dancing With the Stars."

My friend that works in radio for the skins

Told me a story where Rachel got banged in in one of the sound trucks. This was
obviously in her earlier years but none the less, I look at her in a new/awesome way.
