Ok, before you go all LJP on me, hear me out. We have the number 4 pick in the draft, and everyone from here to China has us taking Claussen, Bradford, or some offensive lineman. But looking at it a little more, the Top 3 players are all on defense. I know we don't need a DT, I think it's one position we have depth, especially if we convert to a 3-4. But what if Berry is there. He's as good as it gets from what I can tell, and the "experts" are high on him. I'm against the QB idea, and we need OL depth, not necessarily a "starter" yet. If Landry's attitude doesn't change, can we really stop the long ball/run with a combination of Doughty and Horton? If Berry is there at 4, I might be inclined to cheer for us drafting him. I know it's tough drafting a safety that high, especially with the money he would get, but it would makes us that much better, and isn't that what the draft is about? Everyone thought Orakpo would be gone earlier last year, and then the heavens let him fall to us. Thoughts are appreciated, because I'm racking my brain on this one.
