First off, is Hall serious?
We’ve got a lot of people here that think they’re better than they are.
This seems as much an indictment of himself as anyone else.
Then,
They’re not practicing. This isn’t the preseason; this is the real deal.
Is he taking a shot at Portis, or am I reading into this incorrectly?

I can only assume DHall is talking about himself

you would think
except, in the rest of the interview, he kept calling out the “younger guys.” He was saying that they have a “bunch of guys on the team who haven’t made a play in the NFL yet, and think they’ve arrived.” I don’t understand that. The only guy I can think of would MAYBE be Thomas. I think Kelly has shown he’ll be productive whenever they decide to utilize him. But what other young guys do we have? Orakpo and Jarmon are outplaying Hall IMO. And it’s not even a question with Horton. o who is he talking about? Is he having a flashback to his 1/2 year with the Raiders?

Orakpo out-playing D.Hall?!?!
B.O.- 3 games, 5 tackles, 1 sack
D.Hall- 3 games, 10 tackles, 1INT
the stats are not impressive on either side but the 13th overall pick has been scarce.

OK, if you
wanna count stats, you got me. What I do is watch the game. Sure, B.O. hasn’t been utilized properly. But whenever he is, he’s getting into the backfield. Hall, on the other hand, would have one more tackle if he wouldn’t have blown the tackle on the Manningham TD. And I noticed you didn’t post his “passes defended” stat. Is that because he doesn’t have any? I know he has plenty of “passes caught against.”

The real deal
would be covering a receiver as though you were a corner that belongs in the NFL. Not just that, but an extremely high paid corner.
Hall, sit down, and watch some game film of Darrelle Revis.
