Chris Cooley Responds to Bitter Redskins' Fan...in Awesome Fashion
This week we've all been emotional about our beloved Redskins, well, this fan let it all out...in a direct email to #47. I think we can say the Redskins do care, and thank God we don't have people like this on Hogs Haven (though there are some close ones!). HTTR.

I certainly....
understand Joseph’s frustration but I’m in no way trying to justify his profanity laced tirade. It’s uncalled for and Chris responded appropriately. There are other ways to get out your frustations and I’m guessing he wrote this right after the game which was probably not a good idea. All of us are frustrated!!!!
Is anyone else a little nervous about sunday’s game against the Rams? We were suppose to wipe the floor with those guys last year and ended up losing. Their new head coach is former Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnolo (uh-oh) and it could be another anemic offensive output for the skins. I think the skins will win but not by a lot of points.

I'm not worried...I was...
But Spagnolo doesn’t have the weapons he had with NYG. Rams had zero sacks last week. They did force 3 turnovers tho. Their LBs are very good, but very young and prone to mistakes.
I just did an interview for the SB Nation Rams blog…and their WRs are really poor. They can’t run routes, etc. Gonna be a tough day for Bulger.

I agree but
they do have Donnie Avery. Remember him? I don’t mind taking the Rams lightly after their performance last week, but I hope the team doesn’t.

Nuts that he put that up in the locker room
Bulletin board material from the other team or the media is one thing, but from one of your own “fans”? Before your first home game of the season? Hope it works.
I don’t care how long you’ve been a skins fan, if you hate the team in its current incarnation, please A) go root for the Cowboys, or B) kill yourself.
Cooley has reinvented the way that professional athletes interact with fans while being one of the cornerstones of this team. And people still responded to that posting saying they agreed with that asshole and piling the shit on even further. Whats wrong with people lately?

Hopefully
the rest of the team will see this and do something about it. The only thing he was wrong about was big Al. He did what a probowl Dtackle should do and didn’t get any help. Orakpo is NOT a linebacker, at least not a good one yet; he is an outstanding pass rushing specialist already! Why switch him? We don’t need backers, LFletch, Rocko and HB are fine plus Wilson is a very capable back up. Cooley needs to STOP fumbling (he fumbles once a damned game) and we fans need to see someone upset about losing. While dude is an ass he was right about them showing no, zero passion. NOBODY except big Al seemed upset about losing and that has been the case for three or four years now. If it’s just a matter of small, simple mistakes CORRECT them, don’t continue making them week in and week out. I love the skins and always will. BUT if we keep doing what we are doing we will keep getting what we are getting! And what we are getting ain’t good enough and hasn’t been for quite some time. How many people from this team would be here if we hired the Tuna next year? Not many and there is a reason for that. If they want to stop being called soft then start winning some of these close smash mouth games instead of finding a collective way to come up SHORT! Let’s go skins, i grew up with a winner and am trying to show my sons what Redskins tradition is all about, unfortunately my ten year old has seen nothing but mediocrity and failure his entire life. Want me to shut up, start winning!

Cooley might be the best thing to happen to the Skins this decade
