this is cool
I didn’t even know they were negotiating. Sellers is one of a kind. I’m glad he will be here til he hangs ’em up.

awesome
Portis will be extremely happy to hear this, while every opposing D will continue to fear Big Mike(especially you Kennoy Kennedy!)
Get Oher or Maybin please
Pretty smart move by Snyder
This could really be a warm and fuzzy few weeks if we can handle our business on the field in the smart way we just handled our business with Big Mike. To ever see him in another uniform would be a real kick in the gut. He has been a guy every fan could really get behind—and a blocker every running back loves to get behind!

yeah
I wonder what the actual numbers are. I saw the bonuses, which seemed pretty reasonable. But I’m not sure what the going rate is for a Pro Bowl FB. I saw we signed him through 2014, which means he’ll be about 62 when he retires.
Sellers Deal...
$6.9 million over the next six years, but the final two years are voided automatically if Sellers is still on the roster after the 2012 season. Essentially it is a four-year deal with $1 million guaranteed: a $600,000 signing bonus and a $400,000 option bonus next year.
Sellers just turned 34 years deal. Over/under Sellers is here longer than 2 years?
he won’t stay more than the 2 yrs. a 38 yo FB doesn’t seem likely.
