Redskins' Zorn won't babysit Thomas
Not good news. Zorn is clearly getting fed up with Thomas' lackadaisical attitude.

I'm still trying to figure out why
Thomas wanting to return kicks with Cartwright (since that opening is there because of Thrash’s release), translates to Thomas “holding the team hostage”. Zorn’s reaction seems a little too over-the-top for Thomas simply saying “that duty [of returning kicks in the third preseason game] helped him get into the flow of the game quickly.” This whole story sounds overblown and has a rather Florio-esque air of sensationalism to it.

This is very peculiar to me
because I remember Thomas saying that, and this isn’t how it came off. He basically meant touching the ball early helps him get into the game. I don’t believe he meant in any way that he needed to be the KR in order to have a good game. Furthermore, I remember Zorn talking about it, and some of those “quotes” don’t sound familiar at all. Zorn sounded happy with Thomas’ ST play (though I’m not sure he would say otherwise), and when told about what DT said, Zorn just basically said that that was natural. I don’t remember his exact words, but he didn’t make a big deal out of it.
Now, if Mosley was privy to the EXACT same conversation a SECOND time by BOTH of these guys, then there’s a reason to worry, or at least wonder.

People are looking way too into Thomas. None of this posted article has any real dirt, just trying to create it. But it’s a common theme for ‘analysts’ to do. I’m not worried about any of this.
