1) I don't care what anyone says the Titan's D-line could not bring adequate pressure against the Steelers horrible O-line when only rushing 4. People keep on talking about how Tenn. won't miss Big Al but at the end of the game they couldn't get any rush without bringing a blitz. The Titans were getting good pressure and then dropped back into coverage at the end and were unable to bring any pressure with their front 4. When I was watching them piss that game away it reminded me of our D last year against St. Louis and San Francisco not being able to get those stops at the end of the game due to lack of pass rush from the front 4.
)Did I mention the Steelers O-line is atrocious? Everytime people savaged the FO for getting Orakpo and Big Al it reminded me how the Steelers just won a Superbowl with an incredible D and a much worse O-line than we have. Giants O-line was horrible when they won as well. Still i think the Steelers will be the worst rushing team in the league this year.
)I don't know if they have been scooped up yet but I'd like to kick the tires on Langston Walker and Chris Draft. Walker would be our 3rd best Tackle and a huge improvement over Mike Williams and Batiste. I think we need an improvement at OLB for reasons discussed later
)I am high on Orakpo, Davis, and MK right now
)I am low on Tryon, DT, Suisham
)I am worried about our CB's and the Orakpo OLB experiment right now. I can't say I feel great about any of our CB's. Who knows what we will get from Hall and Rogers. If Smoot goes down I am horrified about having to put Tryon or Barnes(I still think Barnes will be good down the line) in. I just have a sneaking feeling like the Orakpo situation won't work out the way the team thinks it will. I think that he will either prove to be so limited in coverage he's a liability at that spot, or that he will be so dominant as a DE that the team will be forced to move him down there permanently(probably after HH readers begging them to for weeks), or that Carter will be hurt and Orakpo will get moved down there regardless. Either way I don't see him starting more than 8 games at OLB which is why I'd love to get a better OLB on the squad. Thats not an indictment of Orakpo either I think he will be a dominant DE for years.
)I am not worried about Heyer. I think he is gonna prove to be solid this year. While I feel we are criminally weak at back-up Tackle I feel fine about the other elements of the O-line.
