Carlos Rogers Ready To Go
The swelling sure did last a long time. I'm cautiously optimistic given the Redskins woes in calf injuries the last couple years. Hopefully it will hold up...Blache is a straight shooter when it comes to stuff like this.

But how long is he going to be able to go 100%?
That’s why I’m cautiously optimistic, along with Kevin. I’m hoping and praying that Rogers will be able to go 100% for the entire year, if that’s not too much to ask from him.

100% the whole year would be nice
but if it has to be (like Haynesworth said) 100% for 14 games instead of 80% for 16 games, let him rest a couple of weeks when he needs to.

why don't we pay them 80% of their salary then? haha

Especially Haynesworth
For 41 million dollars I’d be playing if I had cancer.

HAHAHA
Good One! C.Rogers is set to have a BREAKOUT year. 10 dropped INT’S and 3 INT’s.
But remember INT’s aren’t a good measure to judge a CB on.
Rogers makes good tackles after the man he was supposed to be guarding has already got the 1st down.

Hmmm… okay
Rogers was playing as well as any press man coverage corner in the entire league at one point and everyone thought he had a pro bowl birth locked in. He didn’t play like that for the entire year (not sure why) but I certainly think that Rogers is the Redskins’ best cornerback, even though Hall is much better at intercepting passes.

Rogers is full of potential. You are absolutely correct when you say "Rogers was playing as well as any press man coverage corner in the entire league at one point " but can we get some consistency out of him?
In what aspect is CR better then D.Hall?
D.Hall gets the ball back to the offense by turnovers.
C.Rogers gets the ball back to the offense by letting his man go for six.

Carlos Rogers IS the Redskins’ best cornerback right now.
Hall needs to play tighter and concentrate more on just shutting his guy down. In the New England game, we saw Brady having his way with Hall trying to cover Randy Moss.
If Rogers plays the same as last season, but manages to double his INTs to a total of 6, he will be a strong Pro Bowl candidate.

hmmm...was he really that hurt?
a while back on Redskins Nation they asked JC about Carlos’s injury and he rolled his eyes and smirked, then mentioned it being like Spring’s (fake?) injury last preseason. I took this as the Redskins over-blowing a minor injury to rest him in preseason and test out the young guys. He wore-down last year, so I assummed that was the plan. Maybe he was really hurt.

Make Or Break Year For Rogers?
He was asking for a trade at the end of last season. If he doesn’t perform I’m thinking he’s gone.
