Rock Cartwright Battling Groin Problem All Camp
This has gotta help Marcus Mason's chances of making the squad, especially given the great run he's had so far this year.

I wish
that were true, but I think it bodes well for Dorsey more than Mason. Unless Mason gets his chance on KR (not as a blcoker), and makes the most of it.
I love Rock however
We need a RB that’s a home run threat. Rock has taken one or two returns to the house before however he need RB and returner with some speed and agility. Dorsey I’m looking at you. Mason’s downfall might be that he doesn’t to teams.
I'm worried about the beer supply. After this case, and the other case, there's only one case left- Barney Gumble

rock's one of the better returners in the league
I’d take him over someone with a lower yards per return, but is more of a ‘home run threat’.
Rock per kick return avg isnt bad.
He’s also a great locker room guy and special teamer. My only hope is that we could get a back in the Darren Sproles, Felex Jones mold that can take it to the house at any moment. Currently we don’t have a running back on the roster that can do that.

Yea thats like asking for an Albert Haynesworth, London Fletcher, or Laron Landry
Awesomeness doesn’t just grow on trees.
LOL
I know I’m simply stating that Rock isnt that back and and Mason or Dorsey have the ability to be. Jones and Sproles are simply examples of that type of back when potential is met.

I'd rather
keep Rock then Dorsey. Dorsey looked good the other day, but Rock’s a proven gamer. Plus, I’ve heard the coaches have been frustrated with Dorsey fumbling all camp.

Heard that to.
To me Ladell Betts and Rock are essentially the same back, not counting Rocks special teams contributions. (Betts wasn’t bad on teams either.)
My ideal backfield depth would be:
1) Starter who can produce on a continuous basis
2) Back how can spell starter with same skill sets
3) Slash and dash type ( Joe Washington anybody) who’s scary on kickoffs and screens.

1) Portis
2) Mason
3) Alridge

I like the sound of that.
Though Aldridge seems to be injury prone. If he gets healthy and goes off in the last two games, it could happen. Both of the speed backs need to show they can produce out of the backfield in addition to on the kick-offs to have any chance of beating out the tenured Rock.
I'd rather
keep 4. At least for a few weeks. Then we can see if one of the lil’ speedsters is truly ready to supplant Rock. Personally, I don’t see it. But I guess I view Rock as similar to B Mitch, and therefor hold a certain loyalty towards him.
4
I’d rather have 3 RB’s and use the roster spot for an OL’men because we’re going to need it.

another good point
they should give us an extra roster spot just for running the same offense 2 years in a row.
So,
do we think Groin will make the team or are we stuck with Rock?
Is Groin above Dorsey?(not a height joke)
It was T-I-C,
I actually like Rock, although I would like to see at least one of the little guys make the team.
