I'm sure some of you share my frustration with the play calling in the Red Zone against the Steelers last week (at least for our starters)
Here's my issue; We have a quarterback that desperately needs to take control of this offense and prove himself to the front office that he can put points on the board. We have two big tall Wide outs with great hands and body control in Malcolm Kelly and fan favorite Lanky Livingston (MM for those who don't follow Smoots Nicknames). We have two quick sure handed tight ends that when both on the field can create mismatches all over the field.
We have all the aforementioned Red Zone weapons yet on first and goal, from the two yard line, in an EXHIBTION game, we keep it on the ground... now as a card player, i understand the need to keep your hand close to your chest till it's time for the big showdown but preseason is a time to get your players in rhythm and I’m pretty sure defenses have seen jump balls before so we're not hiding anything they've never seen before. So lets let our guys that we brought on to be Red Zone threats, "be who we thought they were".
First post so take it easy on me guys.

Who gets the nod in the Red Zone Vs the Pats this Friday?

Fred Davis or Chris Cooley (18 votes)
Ughh... we keep it on the ground (5 votes)
We don't even see the Red Zone because Colt Brennan fires numerous 70 yard td passes to a triple covered Keith Eloi who back flips over defenders to come down with the ball. (9 votes)
