Where's the cool aid?
Living in the Midwest I ended up with the Steelers vs. Cardinals game so all I could do is wonder why the Redskins couldn't even score a Field Goal.
So what happened? Were the Redskins very bland on offense to avoid showing teams what they're going to do in the real season or what? I'm hoping there's some kind of bright side to 23-0. All 3 QB stats were pretty lame so maybe the cries for starting Colt Brennan will go away.

Brennan played great actually...
The pick he threw was because he got hit from the blindside as he released the football… Colt was running around the pocket and scrambling the whole game because the offensive line couldn’t block at all. He was heavily pressured almost every single play.
Of the 3 quarterbacks, he made the best throws and manufactured more first downs… some of them with his feet.
It is still obvious to me that Campbell is a bum… but our offensive line is horrible. It’s amazing Colt could make anything happen with that line. But JC couldn’t. Because his brain thinks too slow to create something out of nothing. That’s the difference between the 2 qb’s. When the play breaks down, Colt looks for a way to generate positive yardage with his legs or by scrambling until a receiver can break free. JC just throws the ball into the ground, out of bounds, or he gets sacked. JC moves slow… so slow…

Are you serious?
Colt was 4 for 12 with a pick and thats against the third string defense. ITS THE FIRST PRESEASON GAME. JC looked good and so did the o-line. There was no rushing attack b/c once again ITS THE FIRST PRESEASON GAME. Campbell was 3 for 6, he had one bad throw in traffic and one that could/should of been caught by Hagans.
Give me a break dude, did you even watch the game?

Where do these guys come from?
A so-called slow brained JC is still better than a fun n gun CB, hands down. It’s funny, in these preseason games when colt posts some decent statistics, it’s I told ya so, I told ya so. When Campbell posts better statistics, the excuse book comes out. It’s the O-line, it’s this, it’s that. Do these guys realize that Colt is playing against the other teams 3RD STRINGERS! He looks terrible against them.

Conversely
Whenever JC has a bad game or maybe a second-half season meltdown, it’s always the O-line’s fault. Funny how all of that works, eh?

you are retarded
Colt plays with the 3rd string. He is not better than Todd COllins, he is not nearly as good as JC

Maybe to some...yeah
I think a perfectly legite excuse for Campbell is the number of systems he is always learning. That being said, Campbell is still something like 16-20 in his games started. Not being able to get out of the 3rd spot on the qb roster is a world of difference. And dont tell me if CB were on some other team blah, blah, blah. If he were that good he would have been drafted higher or he would be trade bait right now.
So whats his excuse?
By the way, you would think an awesome 3rd string QB would be able score on another teams 3rd string defense. He would have made the perfect QB for Spurrier. I wish somebody would give him a chance, just like Spurrier he’d be out of the NFL quick.

Having more than 1.3 seconds to throw the ball might help that.
I wish somebody would give him a chance, just like Spurrier he’d be out of the NFL quick.Yeah!! Because Colt being a bust would be a good thing for the Redskins, right??

Colt being a bust wouldn't really be a big deal...
He was a 7th round pick, I don’t think anyone in the FO has this kid down as the future. If he sucks, o well, if hes good, cool.
The only people that have anything invested in Colt are the guys like washingtonwin who went out and bought his replica jersey. They just don’t want its value to depreciate

Sadly
I don’t think anyone in the FO has JC down as the future either. I would rather have 2 young, up-and-coming QBs who can step in to lead this team in JC and Colt.
