Which division has the best? Part 1: NFC East
Ok, I will be making a all star team form each division. Starters and Backups. Based on comments I might tweak the teams a little. After the teams are finished we will vote the best through the worst. Each week we vote which all star team gets booted when they get booted. The team with the most votes each week played the team with the least. Then the second most vs the second least and etc. Then we vote off who would has the least chance. Today will be our division
Edited! Again

I'm sorry, but...
how many Pro Bowl fullbacks are in the NFC East? I thought it was just one: Mike Sellers. How do you not include the guy who is on the actual Pro Bowl team? I could make the same argument for Chris Samuels, but I understand you might have kept him off because of his age and injury concerns (even thought he would have been on my list).
I agree
Samuels is over-rated. But so is Jason Peters. I think there’s a stat out there that Peters gave up more sacks then any LT in the league. So if Peters is #1 on the list, then Samuels is #2 or 3.
Sellers is the best FB, and Hall should be over Rogers AND Smoot> Smoot shouldn’t be on there at all. Neither should Randle El. Carter belongs over Parker, and probably Canty, and Orakpo is most likely above all 3, though I understand not including him since he’s a rookie.
Also, if Kiwanuka (sp?) is still considered an OLB, as he was last year, he’s over McIntosh. But Fletcher should be the starter at MLB. He had the most tackles in the division, and he was the only Pro Bowl consideration in the division.
And lastly, I believe Shawn Andrews is a guard, and the best in the division at that spot.
Not even close, dude
Amount of sacks given up by each LT in the NFL (2008).
1. Ryan Clady (Broncos) 0.5 sacks allowed (16 starts)
2. Michael Roos (Titans) 1.0 sacks allowed (16 starts) PRO-BOWL
3. Tra Thomas (Eagles) 2.0 sacks allowed (16 starts)
3. Orlando Pace (Rams) 2.0 sacks allowed (14 starts)
5. Jake Long (Dolphins) 2.5 sacks allowed (16 starts)
6. Jordan Gross (Panthers) 3.0 sacks allowed (15 starts) PRO-BOWL
6. Jammal Brown (Saints) 3.0 sacks allowed (15 starts)
6. Jared Gaither (Ravens) 3.0 sacks allowed (15 starts)
6. Marcus McNeill (Chargers) 3.0 sacks allowed (14 starts)
6. Tony Ugoh (Colts) 3.0 sacks allowed (12 starts)
6. Chris Samuels (Redskins) 3.0 sacks allowed (12 starts) PRO-BOWL
6. Todd Weiner (Falcons) 3.0 sacks allowed (11 starts)
13. Walter Jones (Seahawks) 3.5 sacks allowed (12 starts) PRO-BOWL
14. D’Brickashaw Ferguson (Jets) 4.0 sacks allowed (16 starts)

31. Duane Brown (Texans) 11.5 sacks allowed (16 starts)
31. Jason Peters (Bills) 11.5 sacks allowed (13 starts) PRO-BOWL
RAK EM UP!
I don't see any homerism going on here...
How are you going to put Jason Peters as the starting left tackle without him even playing in the NFC east arguably the best division in the nfl. PLaying the giants ridiculous pass rush and D ware 2 times a year, we (skins) haven’t proved that our pass rush has improved so i won’t count us YET.
get fred smoot of that CB list ha
D does look terrifying
i’d have some minor tweaks but all in all good post
needed changes
Mike Sellers is obviously the lone starter at Fullback.
Chris Samuels needs to be on that tackle list, and I Love Fred Smoot but did we forget Dangelo Hall is starting over him in Washington; Hall will prove all the haters wrong in 2009 mark my words. and Horton deserves at least that back up ss spot.

My problem with this list
is that there’s about 1,000 players on it. I know the Beast is the class of the NFL, but do you really need 8 cornerbacks on the roster? 3 fullbacks? LOL
I would have limited myself to a 53-man roster if I were you, but I’m not, so there we are.
Also, no special teamers? Could make for some interesting discussions anyway.
Best NFC East OT = Chris Samuels
Chris Samuels is unquestionably better than Jason Peters.
there are only three eagles fans that have white collar jobs and internet access during the day, so they spend a lot of time over here. They don’t have internet access at the docks or in their delivery trucks. at night they use their dial-up service from their double-wides and typically stay on their blog.
London
Should be the starter hands down. He’s not only is he great in coverage but he’s a leader on the field. And I can understand James, he’s got good pass rush skills, but Bradley should be the back up. The second year player has no reason to be starting over a top veteran.
