a mystery jersey

ok so my brother has this longsleeved sweat shirt jersey thats all burgandy with gold numbers, no name on the back, with a redskins insignia on the front and it's number is 32.... as far as we know no one really good has worn 32.... if anyone has any clues as to what player it is or what jersey line it is thatd be great... it's really comfortable and awesome and very unique, but for to people as knowledgable about the skins we feel ashamed we don't know who it is. ill post a picture later if i can find it.  The greatest redskins for every number thread series would help a lot, but their only on 22

Ricky Ervins…super bowl.

Ricky

yeah, Ricky was great when he was here. A fan favorite too, so it makes sense there would be jerseys out there of him. He was a lightning quick little guy that Gibbs worked in gradually. I think his quote about Ervins (and I will firm it up for the #32 post) was something like, “Ricky is the kind of player that when we put him in games, everyone will wonder why I didn’t do it sooner.” He was right. Though we did have Byner and Riggs I think, Ervins would come in and get huge gains at random times.

Maybe some mystery...

Guys, my best guess for this jersey (I had one just like it and it IS very comfortable) is that it honors the fact that the redskins franchise originated in boston in 1932. Just a guess.

From what I remember

It’s the throwback jersey the Skins used during the ‘94 season when every NFL team wore throwbacks because it was theNFL’s 75th anniversery. I’ve acctually seen it a couple of times before.

Speaking of mystery jerseys

I was thinking of buying an authentic Sean Taylor jersey but it’s not for sale anymore at the Skins online store, just the replica one. Anyone know what happened or a reliable place to purchase one?

Or…at the NFL shop you can enter your own name and number…so just make it.
