Redskins in great salary cap position [WaTimes] (Correct! That is not a typo!!!)
First-rounder Brian Orakpo and third-rounder Kevin Barnes should account for about $3.1 million between them, leaving more than $3 million to sign veterans and/or injury replacements
Ladell Betts to get more carries [nfl.com]
Paul Tenorio, of the Washington Post, reports that Redskins offensive coordinator Sherman Smith had high praise for backup RB Ladell Betts after OTAs. Smith said, "the guy that's been standing out to me is Ladell Betts. To me, he's stepped his game up. He's preparing like he's a starter. He's taken a leadership role, which I'm not saying he wasn't a leader before, but I just think he's a very good player. He's jumped out to me." [gridiron]

Marcus Mason Vs. Ladell Betts
Maybe Ladell Betts will only fumble 10 times this year. That would be an improvement

We really need
Betts or Mason to step up so CP can have some relief.

Great salary cap position
Eric Shaffer is the true Redskins MVP and we need to keep him in our organization for as long as possible.

that chain in the picture above is way too small to even save a kids wagon if it came loose from the tow ball. the slack would cause it to snap even easier. what a goober.
Zorn is not a good head coach. the dude is nuts. do you think this is his last year?

Zorn
You can’t judge a coach from just 1-year. He’s a West Coast offense coach and he inherited Gibb’s team which was built for the run. Incidentally, Zorn went 8-8 which isn’t bad for a rookie coach. He lost some bad games, but we all expect a much better team this time around.
