Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

Brandon Marshall

So Brandon Marshall is asking for a trade.  Personally I'm all for it if we can find someway to fit him into the cap.  He would be a tremendous upgrade at number 2 over ARE.  He's young and has great hands.  Do you think he would fit well within our system or not? What would the bronco's ask for him?  What can we afford to give up?

If it is possible to get him and we pass him up, I think it'll be a huge mistake.

I love Marshall

But he’s too expensive. His size and catching ability make him a strong fit in our offense, but again, not gonna happen.

I knew someone was going to bring this up at any time. Like we said before we still need to cultivate our current receivers.

IMO

If we were going to pay for someone this would be the guy.

3 things

1) He’s upset because he wants a new deal before the CBA expires and word on the street is he wants big $$. Right now I think he’s due a little over $2 million (which apparently isn’t enough), so he may be out of our price range.

2) He’s coming off of a hip surgery which may or may not impact his production.

3) He reportedly has been arrested or questioned by police 13 times (seven times for alleged domestic abuse) since 2004.

RAK EM UP!

He’ll open up the field for us so much, take pressure off our o-line since our passing game and rushing game would have to BOTH be respected. With 4 playmakers on the field in portis, moss, cooley, and marshall our offense would be something to reckon with. He would help tremendously in the red zone too which was probably our biggest failure of last year, finishing a drive.

I say open up the bank for him, i have faith in thomas but kelly is really questionable.
