In lieu of the 'Skins Insider article on the WR situation, I was wondering what the vibe was on this sort of thing with everyone else. It looks like it may come down to Roydell Williams or Marko Mitchell for the 5th WR spot. (I'm thinking they're only gonna keep 5 due to the extra O-linemen and maybe a 4th RB.) While it sounds like Williams is doing well out there, I personally would rather see us keep Mitchell. I know he's got a steep curve, and the fact that Kelly and Thomas need extra help too probably doesn't help him. But I'd like to see us stay in house and keep our own guys for once. Williams has a ceiling that we already know about. He's a decent backup option, but that's all he'll ever be. Not saying that Mitchell will be better, or even as good. What I'm saying is, we don't know. We drafted the guy for a reason, so I'm hoping we give him a shot when it counts. I'm sure he can at least contribute on Teams, and with his height we could probably just throw him in for fade routes in the Red zone in the beginning.
This is just my take, so I'd like to know what everyone else thinks about it.
