Get Vick
Jason is not the answer, he chokes down the stretch. He lacks the eye of the tiger. Vick will lead to great things. I mean Jason is a nice guy, but strictly back up material. It's unfortunate, Vick's past mistakes, but he paid a price now lets have him back in the game doing what he does best winning. It is a treat watching him play, I hope it is has a Redskin and not on another team. He is better then Tony R.

No thanks.
As I posted earlier… Skins not interested.
JC will have his best season this year. Let’s be patient.

I can accept him as a Redskins!
If Jason doesn’t perform, I am open to Vick being a Redskins. He is a very talented player and I believe he has character at least not as bad as Pacman or other NFL rowdies…
We need someone who can win! So he liked dog fighting, he learned his leasons, paid for his mistakes, we should give him a chance. Dog fighting really is not as bad as shooting someone or any other crimes… we should sign him! He won’t be as expensive and overpay as other players in the league, he will be at bargain price!! Redskins can win with him being center!

Click the RED WORDS and you will go to an article explaining that the Redskins organization is not interested in Vick. Here is one of the main reasons:
But the reasons for not wanting Vick are simple, starting with location. Playing so close to the seat of political power in the country would potentially make Vick, and the team, a constant target for pickets and demonstrations. One league source said he thought another team, far from the world of intense political lobbying, would be better suited for handling Vick than the Redskins. The source said this issue alone was enough to end Washington’s interest.

SIGH
Michael Vick was never a good QB. This isn’t Madden ‘03 where you could scramble for 15 seconds a find an open WR. We need a QB that can make reads and lead. Vick can’t do either.

PLEASE
let the Cowboys, or Bronco’s, or Seahawks, or ANYONE sign Vick so we can stop hearing about this.
Look, I completely agree, he paid his dues. He definitely deserves another chance. It would be extremely hypocritical of this league to keep him out while giving 2nd and 3rd chances to guys like Leonard Little, Pac Man, Chris Henry, etc…
That said, I do not wanna see him on the Skins roster. I’m sorry, he is not a legit answer at QB. He’s probably the best athlete in the league, but that doesn’t make him a good QB. I’d rather have a multi-dimensional offense than a one man highlight show.
As for Campbell, I think this year is his last shot. The excuses have run out. It’s time for him to step up and lead this team. And if he can’t get it done this year, give Colt a shot. But forget about Vick. He is not the answer.

COME ON
Vick as said earlier has never been a good NFL QB. I think Romo sucks when it matters but I would take 5 Romo’s before one Vick. And as for your comments about Jason he is a far better QB than Mikey will ever be. Most QB could not even do what Jason has done over the last five years with new being somewhat successful with all the changes in coaches and different offenses. This is not about dog fighting this is about Vick he sucks at QB. If you want him to play WR or RB in the NFL than sign him that’s where he should have played all along but don’t make outrages claims like he is better than Jason or Homo or that he invented the question mark because it is just not true. And V_A said it Jason will have his best year yet the WR have to step up and show thier worth this year!

Championship Quarterbacks do not take three years
I heard the same comments last year about JC and the first half of the season they looked true, but he just can not get it done as the second half demonstrated. When he was injured the year before, Collins won games JC couldn’t, Not last year, the year before nor this year. Michael Vick raised the Falcons to contenders and would have gone further with a strong supporting cast. I would love to see The Redskins with a long term Championship quarterback, something they have never really had. Can you imagine what Gibbs could have done with Montana, Marino, or dare I say that quaterback with the cowboys. I hope I am so wrong about JC!

Last half meltdown
Yes Campbell needs to work on his reads however if the O-line can’t block long enough for him to make them is that really is fault? He’s also had a ton of offenses to learn every other year. Todd Collins won because he was in the same system (Al Saunders) forever. I think he’ll fail in the WCO, Todd Collins and quick release don’t go together.

it's not just the QB
that makes a “Championship QB.” You say "imagine what Gibbs would’ve done with Marino. Well, Marino wasn’t a championship QB. Neither was Warren Moon. Or Sonny Jurgenson. Do we need Campbell to get better? Absolutely. But saying he’s not a “Championship QB” is not the same thing as saying he’s no good. There’s been plenty of great QB’s who’ve never won a championship. Vick was a flash in the pan, whose style was so different that he took the league by surprise and was able to get to the conference championship. But one he was adjusted to, he became an average QB, at best. Great athlete, average QB. If his talent AS A QB was that great, he would have a team by now. If Tom Brady were put out of the league for 2 years for whatever reason, then came back, they wouldn’t be questioning what position he would play. Not the case with Vick. There’s more of a chance that Vick will be a situational, or Wildcat type, QB when he comes back than an actual everyday starter.

Vick is not a passing QB
Vick has never done well at passing and he only looks decent when he runs around like a crazy chicken which works against mediocre teams but won’t get a team very far. That’s why he only lead his team to the playoffs 1 year. He never passed for more than 2936 yards (which Campbell has already surpassed) and his highest completion percentage was a lame 56. And now he’s been out of football for years so nobody knows if he can still run the way he used to run. Everyone conveniently forgets that the Falcons running game was the dominant factor for the only year Vick took a team to the playoffs. Vick would be a big step back from JC because the Redskins still only have 1 effective WR and a TE for the passing game. JC will be fine if another WR steps up.

I’m surprised the vote is that high in favor of Vick. I’m actually surprised that anyone would vote in favor of getting him.
