Cal Ripken bet on the Derby Winner. The Bird-Oriole reference, the #8 slot, and the jockey named Calvin all contributed to the pick (BaltSun)
Is the economy affecting the NFL? (National Football Post)
Haynesworth is working hard, transitioning to role with the Redskins smoothly (WashPost)
Redskins at #23??? Dallas at #9???? Peter King does his thing at MMQB. More to come from all the rankings out there in the coming days. Skins pretty consistently rated at 20+. (MMQB)
Just saw You Don't Mess With the Zohan, and while I understand it was rightfully snubbed at the Oscars, Emmanuelle Chriqui (looking great for 31!) pulled off hot yet again.

Peter King blows
i don’t get how this guy still has a job, he is the worst nfl “analyst”/“columnist” there is. He acts like he is close personal friends with everyone in the NFL, including Brett Farve who he has been wrong about over and over again. The best is when Steve Czaban gets going on King.
If any Redskins fan ever bumps in to King then you have a strict obligation to kick him right in the nuts in public.
O yea, and he is the worst HOF voter EVER, he has no idea who anyone is.

I’m a fan of TMQ though, his 4th down analysis is a little over the top and his rants are a little bizarre, but I think his commentary is better than most.
A little off topic concerning punting: Why don’t NFL teams train their punters to kick for touch? It seems like you get a guy who can kick a line drive 45 + yards, straight out of bounds, the other team won’t be able to return the ball and you’ll get it farther down the field because you’d be “out kicking” your coverage.
The only advantage to kicking it to someone is there’s the chance of a turnover, but I think you actually have a higher chance of having the punt returned for a touchdown than have them fumble.
THIS
He has no idea what he is talking about, so much so that he has to pad his MMQB with uneducated TV show, music, Starbucks and other commentary. Not to mention details on his daughters’ careers.
He’d get on his knees for the Tom Brady, anyone from the Pats organization and/or the Steelers organization.
Peter King
I love how people keep underestimating our team. I hope it continues right up to game day.
Peter King’s ranking list reminds me of Jim Kramer speculating stocks on Mad Money right before they all deflated. B-B-B-BOOYA!!
HAIL TO THE CAPITALS !!!!
I never saw the movie, (can't stand Adam Sandler)
but she is hot.

Aww, c'mon Kevin.
Would I really be serious with a comment like that?? ;-)
Of COURSE I was talking about random hookups and such.

Ok..
I am working on limited brain cells. I seriously would have failed a sobriety test when I LEFT work today at 5pm. Was partying all through the night after that Caps win.
