Brian Cushing Among Players Cleared

We can now put Brian Cushing back on our draft board for those of us who may have took him off just in case. Also, for those who are seriously into college football who's the better linebacker, Ray Maualuga or Brian Cushing? I know that Hogs Haven selected Cushing, but is that because of the linebacker position they play or is Cushing better than Maualuga?

Cushing Cleared

The doctor who administers the NFL policy on performance-enhancing drugs told highly regarded USC linebackers Brian Cushing and Clay Matthews Jr. on Friday that neither tested positive for banned substances, including steroids, according to sources close to both players.

Being a big USC fan, I have seen both Maualuga and Cushing play a ton. Brian Cushing is was my favorite player on the team, but Maualuga is an absolute beast with a mean streak and the better player. Think Junior Seau.

Maualuga is the best.

’Skins would be going after Cushing because he plays OLB.

we ain't drafting a LB

unless it’s Maualuga and his “Star-player potential”
to me he’s a huge risk..like almost any rookie LB

I would rather

resign Marcus washington this year and draft O-linemen.We already have a good defense and are O-line play is horrible.Plus I think Brandon Spikes from florida is a better fit for this team.He would be avalible in next years draft.

Why

How can the OL play be horrible when they have not played? Samuels, Dockery, Rabach, Thomas, Heyer sounds like it will be a solid line…The Defense can add one player which makes the entire Defense better, cannot the Offensive line sign 1 player which makes the offensive line better..?

Maualuga...

seems like the more natural player… something about Cushing seems forced.

anyway- Are there any stats on players from the West Coast (colleges) playing on East coast teams (Northeast)?? I wonder if there are ever any cases of SAD on players that leave there “natural” environment (sorry- thinking out loud).
