Now more than ever..

..I’m a Jason Campbell fan. His attitude through this whole mess has been stellar. A consummate professional, I don’t think there’s anyone out there right now I’d want leading this team. He has the respect of the other players on the team and thats a lot more than some other QBs can claim. Yesterday on 980 he said (paraphrasing), ‘No matter what goes on with the front office, I’m going to play hard for the other 52 guys on that team’. Thats strong.

Here’s to a great year and shutting up all the naysayers, JC.

JC doesn't suck.

He made good, solid progress last year and he’s still better than half of the starting QBs out there.

Besides, who would be our starting QB? Unproven Colt, or unproven Stafford?!

i'm just sayin

We need a qb whose not afraid to throw the ball and that can actually complete passes of 20+ yards without taking 15 seconds to get ride of the ball. And who can think quickly enough to know when to throw or when to run.I think we should have a open competition in camp this year so we know who the best qb is!!!

Unless...

Brady, either Manning, McNabb, Roethlisberger, Rivers, Cutler, Bulger, Ryan, Rodgers, Brees or Palmer become available, we’re sticking with JC (Warner’s too old, Hasselbeck is broken down, and Pennington has a weak arm)!

That puts JC at 16th.

and...

The list of 12 QBs over JC, so almost 50% of the teams are in a worse position than Washington with JC.
Cutler now has a defense but he’ll be learning a new offense, the competition is on between JC and JC.
