JC wants a trade if Snyderatto goes for Sanchez Saturday
Jason Campbell Will Request Trade if Redskins Make a Move For Sanchez
Can't say I really blame the guy, in the least. It was only a matter of time until he got pissed off enough. If this does happen, just hope it doesn't come back to bite us in the ass. A certain Giants defensemen comes to mind....and a Buc....
Chase away the good people in the franchise and what do you have left? ::shakes head::

JC supporter
I’ve been behind JC from the start, but no one ever talked about JC the way the ESPN guys speak about Sanchez.
You could add Pittsburg too, although it hasn’t effected the Redskins specifically, but players moving and changing has more to do with the NFL and less to do with the Redskins.

Trent Dilfer
has a serious man-crush on Sanchez. I think he actually creamed his pants on live TV talking about him last night.
IN JC WE TRUST

About time
JC stopped taking this crap. I hope if the skins do draft a QB, he throws a huge fit-well, sort of. A huge girly-hissy fit would drop his value…but you guys (and gal) get the point. But at the same time, if the positioins were flipped, Sanchez would be pulling his boy-toy locks out. JC would be sitting pretty, waiting on a fat deal.
Speaking of a fat deal…Curry is willing to take less than last year’s overall pick and the Lions still haven’t snatched the guy up?! He’s talented, WANTS to play on that horrible team, and they haven’t locked him up…oh well.

Well at least JC
knows sanchez is a bum.If the redskins move to get sanchez it will be the worst move in franchise history and we’ve had some bad ones

In the long run JC will have a better career when he gets the hell away from that bumbling fool Snyder.

Wrong X3
Would reply specifically but it’s three different posts:
Sanchez will be a top NFL QB
JC is not complaining his agent is doing the talking
JC will have a career in the right system, while he can run a west coast system similar to the Redskins current offense. He would do exceptionally well under a Joe Gibbs type stretch the field system. He has a great long ball
This has nothing to do with Snyder, it will not be the worst franchise move ever
And Curry is willing to take less, to make more: If Curry takes less than last year’s number 1 and is selected number 1 he will make more money then what he will make at the draft position when he is selected. This is one of the smartest moves ever by a player lobbying to be the number 1 pick! Curry will be a special NFL player.

All that I have read
Said nothing of the agent wanting the potential trade, but Campbell…for the record.

Sanchez has DONE NOTHING to show that he will be a GREAT NFL QB- look at his numbers when he played outside “the DEFENSE HEAVY” PAC10 (sarcasm intended). Even against the BIG10 he was a chump on a good team!!
Come on get real man! The guy may be good, but he really hasn’t done anything to show he will be GREAT!

sorry
I retract my last statement- He actually did great against the BIG10… but I’m still if’y about PAC10 QBs!!! they don’t face Good D Coaches everygame!!
He does look like a good sell though after reveiwing his numbers- just seems like another gamble that won’t even seal the hole of the leak in this team!

Sanchez has 16 career starts. That can’t possibly be a great indication of anything. He’s a big giant unknown, like almost every rookie QB.

This article is getting way overblown
I’ve watched this article spread around from NFL.com to PFT, to ESPN, now here, and I’m sure there are others. All of this is based on speculation by Steve Wyche. There are no interviews or quotes or anything, this is just adding adding more wood to the fire (proverbially, to help build the smokescreens).
As sugar said it perfectly yesterday, no team, no matter how dumb they are, is this obvious with their interests in the draft. Snyder and Vinny are hoping that a QB rush might help an OT or Orakpo fall lower.

I hope you're right
I was just watching this on the news last night and they were talking about it and ended up doing some research of my own. If it is overblown, then I’ll take this post down.

More smoke.
All of these allegations are still coming from Steve Wyche, who is a journalist for the nfl network. Which means it’s all BS.

NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i really hope this isn’t true

My justification for showing interest in Mark Sanchez
Alright, so pre-draft jitters have me doing no work today, so I’m hoping to quell the fears that these Sanchez rumors are actually legit.
My thinking is that Snyder and Vinny are feigning interest in Sanchez to put him in the top 5 draft picks. I think it’s safe to say that Sanchez’s stock has risen more than any other player over the past few weeks, and is targeted to go around there. So why would they do this?
The obvious elite players that would be perfect for the Skins are Aaron Curry and Brian Orakpo, both at one time Top-5 prospects. You also have 4 OTs (Smith X2, Monroe, and Oher), 2 WRs (Crabtree and Maclin), 2 DLs (Jackson and Raji), and of course the two QBs (Stafford and Sanchez) all looking to go in the top 10 too.
That’s 12 players looking to go in the top 10 before us, not including players like Cushing, Ayers, or Freeman who COULD be stretch picks in there too.
So by inflating Sanchez into the top of those 12, Snyder and Vinny are increasing the odds that Orakpo and Curry (not as likely) will fall to the latter half of that 12, perfect for Washington to trade up and get (13 to 9 or 10 is worthwhile trade up. 13 to 4 is too expensive).
And if it creates a run on QBs and someone trades up or selects Freeman, even better for our odds.
So everyone please calm down, Sanchez is not coming here. I’ll take bets.

+1, Excellent analysis
Since I’m not working too, a good reivew of what is occuring. In the end I’m hoping it’s to get someone like Orakpo.
Just a little over a day left…and then we’ll know…

Hogs Haven Manager is not a full-time career?
by SSBlitz on Apr 24, 2009 1:37 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
It is...
but it pays the equivalent of what Snyder’s servants get paid. Nothing.

you get 60 grand a year to do this?
i’ll do it for cheaper
by travisjh86 on Apr 24, 2009 2:37 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
haha, no...
not even close. Snyder paid his servants $0 for overtime…which is pretty much what Hogs haven is to my real-time job. It’s a blast to do though….

And very much appreciated.
Curry, Orakpo, or the top 4 OLs... or back.
