The post-Cutler Aftermath in D.C.
The Cutler saga is over...at least for now. The Redskins frenzied efforts to put together a deal for Denver QB Jay Cutler did not come to fruition and Cutler was traded to the Chicago Bears today for QB Kyle Orton, two first-rounders, and a 3rd/5th round swap. The hefty price paid by the Bears indicates that they were serious about finally featuring an elite passer, something that hasn't been seen in the Windy City for a long time....(click link to read more):

I’m sorta wondering how many more Jay Cutler FanPosts we’re gonna get….. can’t we consolidate, people??

So happy right now.
The Bears just gave up the farm for Cutler. I didn’t realize he was the second coming or whatever, but that is one heck of a lot of picks for someone that the Broncos were considering replacing to start all this.
2 1st rounders could easily have been packaged to pick up pretty much whoever you wanted out of the draft. That plus more draft picks and Kyle Orton, I just don’t understand it. I guess that Bears want to build around Cutler and Devin Hester, plus a sophomore RB. Whatever, just so glad it isn’t us.
Go Skins!!
I'm happy too
Jason is mature enough..for me not to worry about him
the Skins were making their usual splash..they always
put themselves in the middle of trade/FA speculation.
I am confident Jason will be out to hit the lottery next year
with a big effort next year..I think the stars are aligning themselves
for him with both the signings and schedule.
…and he doesn’t have the same idiot troublemaker agent Cutler has

Im glad we didn’t trade him after watching how he handled this situation

Ok,
in the future? If you want to pass a link, put it in the body, not the headline. If you put the link in the headline, it just passes us back to this thread.

No, obviously THAT works.
I have no trouble, but I think the last few days have put on display the fact that some Hogs Havenites aren’t the sharpest tools in the shed…

Heh....
I love the top comment on that blog post (from an obvious Broncos fan):

MANNING UP!!!!

Although
this is my new favorite:
The Bears made a great acquisition. Cutler is a genuine assertive leader, which is unusual in a woman.
