Phillip Daniels Signed today!
It's official Phillip Daniels signed today, over at TORB he has a write-up:
He's excited to be back
"I feel great man, coming back," he said. "Getting with my old buddies and coaching staff. Being on the Redskins. A chance for us to go out there and do some good things this year and win us a Super Bowl."
He is stronger than ever!
"More. More. The injury actually helped me, I think it helped me. I'm stronger this year. It gave me a year's rest, which is good for me at my age. Also, I'm still in powerlifting. I'm stronger than I was at this point last year.
"So yeah, I'm even more excited about this year, coming back and especially coming back from an injury and showing people that I still can do it. Like I said, last year was the first year time I powerlifted and I expected to come in and do big things.
Another very good signing by the front office at a very good price. Looking at Daniels stats he has the ability to be a solid DE. He's old but sometimes "an old dog can hunt" Great pickup!
