Eagles Get Stronger
Which of course, is bad news for us-it's still unofficial, but per ESPN.com, the Beagles will aquire J. Peters from the Bills. Peters is a top end LT, one we surely could have benefited from. But nonetheless, this does make our meager pass rush, to date, less effective-against a divisional opponent. We swept the series last year, but it helps to do it again. The Eagles gave up a 1,4, and an undisclosed 2010 pick. Should we have pursued a similar path? One caveat-He wanted to be paid as the top tackle in the league-he's arguably top 3, certainly top 5.

no
they should’ve traded for Edwards. If you think about it he could be the future.

Last year he was terrible. Utterly terrible. Its a solid trade for the Eagles because he is good but there is no way in hell I give him the contract the Eagles did. Hes got alot of question marks and gave up 13.5 sacks last year playing in only 13 games.
Give me Oher or Andre Smith and let me keep my other picks.
I wouldnt be shocked if the Eagles still trade for Boldin though.

With what?
NYG is in a better position to make a trade (unless they really want Braylon Butterfingers).

none of those numbers are true.
Here is a breakdown of every one of those “13.5” or “11.5” sacks allowed. This guy who actually studied the footage credited him with 5 sacks. I’d say maybe 7. b7ut he was also playing while heavily distracted and disgruntled. Look for footage before you guys start spittin out numbers.

Also, we’re not trading for boldin. Sheldin Brown is asking to be traded so we have bigger probs than a WR this year.
"I think if you go low on Runyan, he may drop the knee somewhere. So I think you have to stay high and just let him baptize you. That's probably what I would do. You know when you go backwards and your head hits first and you wake up as if somebody baptized you or blessed you? I think that would be Runyan right there, all day, every day."

He led the league in sacks allowed last year
…with 11.5
Don’t get all busted up about it. Any speed rusher off the edge will give Peters fits.

Beagles
Have fans? I thought those people in the stands were extras for televised games…family members don’t show-paper bags are too expensive in Cinci, damand outpaced supply. Cursed economics.
