NFL Network Looks At Tying TD.
Some of the guys at NFL.com go over the play design of the game-tying TD by Drew Brees, and why LaRon doesn't deserve all the blame.
There's a bit of other talk on the game too.

Who's suprised by this?
If anyone has watched any video on Brees this year they would know he has pulled this play off a handfull of times already. That is why their 12 -0. They easily have the most complete team in the NFL. The video shows is was partly Smoots fault also.
I love how everyone on here has someone new every week to blame and call for their immediate benching without some objective analysis of the play. If they get rid of Landry then I think I’ll officially stop watching this team forever, their is no need to jump that gun.
However cutting Suisham wasn’t a terrible idea, it’s not like we can do much worse, he’s bad under pressure and statistically speaking his leg might be the weakest in the NFL.
The only other that needs to be benched is Portis and he is. Hope everyone is looking forward to Mr. shoe laces tied together coming back and him convincing the FO why he should the starting RB……oh yeah his contract that’s why.
There are others that need to be benched but you can’t because the team has ZERO depth at these positions. How about the people who are at fault for this being benched……..oh yeah can’t bench the owner and his yes men.
More analysis.
Goes over why the first TD was entirely Landry’s fault, and the second one was more Smoot’s fault. Pretty bad seeing Smoot covering nobody along the sidelines.
thanks for that
it’s really good to see plays broken down like this. now if only we could get Laron and Smoot to watch this…

I'm sure it's being forced down their throats every day this week.
Their teammates, Zorn, the media, Gray, their friends and families, everyone will reminding them. I’d feel bad for them, but they’re pulling multi-millions of dollars to be perfect and take the heat when they’re not.
I'd feel worse
if it didn’t happen multiple times per game, for more than one week. Not necessarily to the same person, but don’t the defensive back practice together at some point during the week?
