Are the Redskins the worst team in the league?

I say yes.  they just can't seem to do anything right and when they do, they ALWAYS blow it.  Shut down the cowboys all day, then screw it up.  Lead the eagles the whole game, then of course, leave people wide open and lose again.  Pick Brees to end the half, then give it back to them for a damn touchdown.  Can they do anything right, can they finish anything. NO NO NO, THEY CAN'T!  and not to mention sending that ridiculous email.  An idiot in the front office apparently spreads to every single person in the organization.  Today i see that the offense finally moves the ball and scores points and just like usual, the defense leaves their best wideout WIDE OPEN, then screws it all up when we have the lead again.  I say we are the worst because Detroit beat us, and at least the Rams have a 1,000 yard back.  the Bucs would probably rip us apart if Josh Freeman was playing.  Its amazing to me that we have 3 wins even.  If you lose to the Washington Redskins, then your team is in trouble.

i hate them

wow, are you kidding me. worst team in the league with the help of TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CALLS. Sherman is an idiot also it turns out, when you are one yard away from the damn endzone three times go for it at least once. ONE TIME, ONE DAMN TIME AND THE GAME IS OVER. everyone on this team is too conservative. wow, thats all i can say is wow. they are the worst team in the league. i mean seriously, one touchdown, one kick. but no, we have the least clutch kicker in the entire league. they have one god damn job to do and it was just a chip shot. i think the entire stadium should be empty of redskins fans next home game just to show them all how retarded they are. if you are so stupid as to let three 10 point leads get away, you shouldnt get any fans any money and any damn wins most of all. i sure hope that the saints dont get all high and mighty, they just beat the WASHINGTON REDSKINS. big whoop, good job you just beat the worst team in the league.

Wow

I think you guys are getting screwed this season you have almost won a number of games that were against very good opponents. I’m sorry for your loses and ish you the best for the rest of this season and next.

Nope

As an Eagles fan, no way are the Redskins the worst team. They play hard, despite injuries to several key players, and never lay down. The offense is markedly better than at the beginning of the season. Worst team might be Cleveland.

worst team

absolutely, from where we were any team losing in that situation is a 1 in 1000 shot but we keep finding ways to blow it. if i still cared about this season this would really piss me off

we have a new motto

The new motto,“Just lose baby”, is patterned after another whacked out owner – it seems fitting.

do they?

cuz last time i checked ive sat there every week watching them blow it against three good teams right at the end. EVERY WEEK. ive watched every game except the chiefs game and they lost that one too. theyve handed what like three or four teams their first win of the season, ended a 20 sumthin game losing streak, and put fans through possibly the worst three game losing streak ever. in resonable comparison where you say “and what are you doing to help them”, i cant help them, im a fan. my heart in this team is watching them week in and week out lose games in the final minutes. they have ripped not just my heart out, but many fans, ripped it to shreds, stomped on it and fed it to dogs, yet i still watch them every Sunday hoping that maybe they will finally get on track and get one. but no, yet again i am disapointed. so dont question my heart, i love this team, and i always will, but heart is not something they are showing when it counts (last 5 minutes).

ha

and what have they shown for me to have any heart for them, huh? that they can play for 3 and a half quarters and then all the sudden quit?! Since when does playing MOST of the game win it. no, they have taken my heart in this team and thrown it out the door.

Good riddance to you and your heart then,

we don’t need weak minded individuals like you.

This team has made so much progress since the begining of the year when we really were one of the worst teams in the NFL. But since then things have changed and things are looking bright, young players are stepping up and trying to prove themselves, we’ve actually started to make games interesting, we’re contending and guys are playing with passion. They could have easily layed down and just gave up after the start of this season but they didn’t. Why you don’t see that blows my mind.

And yes we’ve lost 3 out of the last 4 all to teams that are playoff bound by a combined 7 points, losing them all in the fourth quarter. One of which is considered the best in the NFL right now who we straight up out played. There’s no excuse for not winning that game, but the fact that we went from losing to a 0-19 team to playing the number one team and outlpaying them with some key players hurt is a huge success.

Outsiders Perspective

1. The Redskins have had 5 coaches this decade (5 during all of Reid’s tenture so far). I think Zorn deserves a fair shot at bringing this team together and putting together an off season plan to help the Redskins become play off worthy again. I think you guys need consistency on that front. Getting rid of Zorn and getting a new coach still might not solve all of your problems.

2. Jason Campbell is a decent QB. He gets too much flack from your fans. Teams like Oakland would kill for Campbell on their squad.

3. Injuries. You have some of your most important players injuried. Depth, Depth, Depth.

4. You could take some of that money out of Haynesworth pocket and put it into FA and you should be able to get some good draft picks in 2010. Hopefully you guys draft wisely.

You guys are definitely not the worst team in the league. All your games were close:

Loses by 3 or less: 4
Loses by 7 or less: 6
Loses by 10 or less: 8
Loses by more than 10: 1

You guys just need to finish those close games. I know that loss on Sunday was depressing but it was the Saints.. the undefeated Saints. It should give you hope that you guys are only getting better and could end the season 7-9.

You guys can beat Oakland and you have a chance to redeem yourselves by beating the Cowboys and Giants (which I hope you do!)

Good luck with the rest of your season!

In life, as in a football game, the principle to follow is: Hit the line hard.
