Skins vs Saints will have Texas Visitors.....

My brother in law got my sister tickets to the Skins game this week.....sec 101 5th row..50 yrd line I believe...my aunt lives in Manassas, where they will be staying. They drove to Ohio to see his parents and are going to drive to VA on sat. Any tips for them on parking etc... about the stadium? My aunt has been to a few games, so they will not be totally in the dark...thanks

I live in Manassas/Woodbridge, I usually drive through DC, around RFK to FedEx. I’m not sure what the actual directions are but try avoiding 95/495. I’m usually up in arlington/vienna sunday mornings when I leave for the games so I don’t know how 66 is down towards Manassas but it’s usually not great on the weekends, especially with the construction on the ramp to 495.

Try to

get there by noon-ish using the exit closest to the Rt 301/50 exit on the SOUTH side of the exit (closest to Alexandria). This is directly opposite of where Rt. 66 enters the beltway so leave real early.

There is a big church at the entrance to the lot that you can park there relatively cheap. Not sure if they allow tailgating but probably. You can see the stadium from the church, so it’s not far.

And I’m seriously trying to help this time. :) Anyone know the name/number of the exit I’m talking about? It slips my mind.

To be clear, the exit I’m referring to is off 495. It shouldn’t be too bad if you go South on 495 through Alexandria, over Memorial Bridge and it’s about 20 minutes from there.
