Something For Cincy

G'Day All

Is there anything, even just an expression of support that you guys can think of that we could send over the Cincinatti Benglas SB Nation site in the wake of the Chris Henry tragedy.

I think us as Washington Fans are almost uniquely placed to show our support and show we understand in the wake of the Sean Taylor tragedy,  NOt just losing a fan but the parallels

Troubled Beginning to the carrer

Rep as a malcontent

Then seemingly turning his life around

Then in the midst of the upturn dies in a senseless manner that has some parallels with his past but is in no sense the fault of the person who dies

So yeah anything you can think off that we can do to show we care

great point

we love football but real life is a lot more important. I’m very saddened for their loss, especially for his family. At least he turned his life around first.

I posted the link

as a FanShot yesterday, (although nobody noticed it amongst all the hoopla) and sent them my condolences in their thread — OF COURSE mentioning that we’d gone through much the same thing when Sean died.

"The existence of flamethrowers is proof that someone, somewhere, said to himself, 'I want to set those people over there on fire, but I don't feel like walking over there to do it.'"
