I got a funny feeling......
I have this funny feeling we are going to win this game! I don't even think it will be close. I think with 2 weeks, Zorn, Lewis, and Blache, have setup a can't lose gameplan against an Atlanta team, that is good, but somewhat struggling. We have a young QB we are going up against that has finally started to show some signs of struggling. They have a running back that is good, but isn't living up to the hype of last year! We have to worry about White or Jenkins getting a big play, but other than big plays.....we don't give up consistent offense. We have only allowed 9 TDs on defense......6 passing.......3 rushing! The Falcons have shown they can contend in high scoring dogfights (no pun intended), but can they win a defensive struggle against a pissed Skins team coming off a bye week? Everyone on this team has something to prove......I think maybe........just maybe.....they are going to prove it today! Maybe I am delusional, and I am sure the usual haters will come out on this one (I expect most of that to be when the game is done, if we lose)....but it's time to be positive! At least until 4!
My statlines:
Campbell: 68% 284 yds 3 TDs
Portis: 104 yds 1 TD
Fred Davis: 6 rec 71 yds 1 TD
Moss/Thomas/Kelly 9 rec 183 yds 2 TDs
Def: 3 Sacks 2 int 2 FF 1 FR
Score: 31-10 SKINS BITCHES

lol
I like the positivity and hopefully you are right on this but I think that if we cant get some sacks and rattle Matt Ryan then its going to be a long game , also we surely need to stay on the positive side of the turnover ratio

We can win this game.
On any given Sunday, the Redskins can win. But they haven’t shown the heart or desire to go out and force the issue, and MAKE the other team lose.
If they get that killer instinct (and an offensive line….) we could be a very very good team. With just the killer instinct, we can beat any team, but won’t win all or even most of them. Without that instinct, we’ll lose almost all of them.

yes
At first we all try to stay positive…
Later you will become bitter and angry…
Then, One day you will be as me.
You will turn to the excuse that we are in a rebuilding phase of the franchise.
I felt bad for Campbell today. I felt bad for all that crap I said about him. He got killed today. I admire him for going back out there.
I would refuse to play if I were him. They obviously didnt think of him in the off season so why should he get kill for them during the season. Maybe that would get some Danny-boy attention.

Nope....I am one of those idiots.....
who will be all excited for next week by Wed! I am dumb like that but I do love my Skins! They are like a child……they can disappoint you, piss you off, maybe even slap their own mother…..but at the end of the day…..it’s still your kid…..and you still love them! (doean’t mean you don’t wish you could beat the shit out of em’ sometimes)

glad you recognised that Milky
I thought it was real courage for Campbell to do that, and like you say, why should he have bothered after the way he has been treated by the organisation, one other thing, on the Pick 6 in the first quarter, he was the last guy that Tye had to beat to get his TD return, I dunno if thats usual or not, but I would suspect some QB’s make a token effort if that on int returns, but Campbell was back there to the point that Tye had to put a move on him to get past, that impressed me too, still doesnt mean it will save his job though

I want the guy here under a decent O-Line
but at this point, I want him to go to an team that will treat him right. put the pieces around him and see him shine.
I swear, it happens everytime one of our own goes to another team. He’s gonna go somewhere else, come back and burn us.

When was the last time the Skins offence
played a first quarter that did not include a couple of sacks and some sort of turnover that was returned to the house for a score
Thank god I didnt wake up for this mornings game

It's downright scary....
As a defense minded person, I would expect any NFL defense to get a turnover for a score maybe 3 or 4 times a season. Our O gives up at least one TD EVERY game and we do it early and we never do it with our own D.
Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana.

Our D is greatly over rated
We have played horrible offenses this year until now. Most of the teams we played (and lost to) have had several scoreless games. Things are gonna get worse if our offense cant keep our D off the field.
