Where will JC play in 2010
The Redskins are, as predicted, scouting college QBs. This is due diligence- any team in our position would do the same. Nonetheless, it inspires me to post this poll.
My personal opinion? JC has paid his dues, and is about to be rewarded. Assuming that Favre does retire this time, he will go to camp with the Vikings and compete with Jackson for the starting roll. Then, we'll see what Campbell does behind a solid offensive line. My bet is he proves to be a much better passer than Jackson.

I like the Panthers...
But man, there really are a lot of QB opportunities. I can’t see why he’d want to stay here.

I'm with the panthers
The only hope inspite of themselves, Jason remains a restricted free agent, NO CBA rules, and either provides draft picks or stays with the redskins.

Good Riddance JC
Maybe Al Davis can provide you an offensive line you can blame your future failures on in Oakland.

Shame, Shame
Shame on the FFO, for how Jason has been treated. It’s about 100% likely he will go elsewhere and improve whatever team he goes to. It’s also about 100% that whomever plays QB for us next year will not be as good. The only player with the slightest chance would be Colt Brennan unless they go to a completely different system.

Early returns
This is pretty interesting, actually. We’ve got 10/23 members who think that JC stays. Is this wishful thinking from the BOLA faction?
I don’t think I agree that whoever plays for us next year will not be as good. I think that the mostly likely scenario is we draft a “QB-of-the-future” and sign a veteran like Chad Pennington or Jon Kitna. I think JC is better than what we’re watching, but I’m not ready to say he’s better than those guys.
Or Brett Favre… HAHAHAHAHAH…
…
…ha?

Vikings
It just makes way too much sense… stays in a similar WCO (Zorn and Childress arent that far away on the holmgreen coaching tree) and finally gets to play with the dominant rb/defense combo that many tried to talk up in this town. He even gets to work with Favre for a short period of time and hopefully pick up a little of his gunslinger mentality.

Remember
Campbell was never intended to be a WCO QB in the first place. Gibbs drafted him to be a playaction, 5-7 step drop QB.
I for one think we should resign him to a short contract and give him a line that would let him make more then one progression. That’s if he wants to return.

My ideal dream for the draft
Does anyone think this is possible: knowing full well that snyder loves his shiny toys, and everyone expects him to go for a QB he uses the ruse and gets the best OL men out there.

Surley with that name you are Vinny Cerrato in disguise right????
so you should be able to tell us what is happening!!
ON a serious note, any chance Campbell sees a Parcells as a shiny toy, that would be the best present he could buy

Bills
could be a perfect fit for campbell. He is clearly better than their current QB’s, and we all know a change is comming in Buff. If wilson shells out BIG CASH for the next head coach, and makes some nois in FA, he may not have the $$$ to pay a high profile QB as his #1 choice. The Bill would be in an ideal situation to trade down in the draft as they are in need of soooo much help. WR, OT and DT are 3 glaring needs. They could get Campbell for a helluva lot cheaper than a 1st rd drafted QB, then trade down in the draft and get a late 1st and another 2nd with wich they can select their stud DT, and get a WR and OT in the second.

roger that
JC could fall off a cliff after next season for all I care. After that we can afford the cap and or the draft for a new QB… Right now though he can work for us as long as we have a running game. Without the running game he buggs the hell out…. we need a line and that is the bottom line.. That is the most key piece of any team… If you have a line that holds back the D for a good amount of time and opens gaps for the run… Hell you can make any offense look good… That front 5 must be what we fix in the draft first and foremost…
Dont get me wrong I hate Campbell with a passion but keeping him a little longer is better than drafting a rookie and not getting a line…. You can take that to the bank..
