Redskins add QB Richard Bartel to 53-man roster

Cowboys signed him as an un-drafted free agent in 2007 from Tarleton State. Rich was on the Browns practice squad last year and the Jags practice squad this year. Andre Woodson has been cut.

Can anyone name the Tarleton State mascot without googling?

With how bad the Skins’ OLine is and how much the Eagles blitz, the adding of 3rd QB to the roster certainly makes a statement. Perhaps Campbell is nursing an unknown injury right now.

indication that the FO simply has no plan. I wasn’t as enamored b Chase Daniel as everyone else, but I thought he deserved a chance on the practice squad. Instead they sign Andre Woodson, who never sees the light of day. And, now that there’s a SLIGHT possibility we may need a 3rd QB we dump the guy who’s been working with the team ALL year for a nobody. Wonderful.
