I thought it was very unfair to put him in the position. The position they put Jim in, it shouldn’t happen," Holmgren said. "You can be upset with me as a play-caller or how the team’s going, (then) fire me. But don’t do that. Don’t pull the rug out from under me, tie my hands, make me look foolish … take away what I came there for to do in the first place. Don’t do that...what they did, I did not like it at all."

Guess that means we can cross Holmgren off the list of coaches. Geez...who would coach here?

I hear Cerrato would take the job.

Good Point
I think that Mike Holmgren makes a good point, Jim Zorn did not come to us asking or even interveiwing for the Head Coaching job. He accepted the job as Offensive Coordinator & then because of our FO genius was asked to step up & take over the Head Coaching duties. After this stint with the Redskins he will be lucky to find a job as a waterboy. He has been ripped by just about everyone (including me) for the job he has done but I doubt that any of us hate Snyderatto more than he does.

Yeah brah, we need a revolution in D.C.
Hopefully Danny Boy would consider selling the team to Coach Gibbs, what a dream that would be.

Yes, his career is probably shot. Why do you think
he is willing to sacrifice what little respectability he has to stand on the sidelines with nothing to do? Because he is going to need that 9M or whatever it is that Danny is going to owe him once he’s totally Kiffined.

Gregg Williams is clearly the biggest impact signing among both coaches and players
And guess what, Daniel Snyder kicked him to the curb for insubordination – known as vying to coach this organization without the most meddlesome, idiotic owner in American sports and his blatantly obvious toadie Vincent Cerrato f*ing it up to all hell. This f*ing sucks, no way around it, I’m feeling pretty confident this bye week will be the most fun Redskins week this season and probably for the foreseeable future barring some anomalous win where a playoff team doesn’t give 100% to conserve for the postseason. Simply glancing at Zorn’s CV starkly tells even a casual fan the guy is clearly overmatched and woefully unqualified to coach an NFL team. Cerrato is an awful talent evaluator. Daniel Snyder is the worst owner among all in the 3 major US sports. And both are grossly unaccountable for jack shi*.
I agree, a revolution is needed but we need to figure out a way to galvanize the casual fan instead of just talk about it amongst ourselves.

I'm not sure it's that cut and dry...
Gregg Williams alienated a lot of the players and a lot of the players didnt want to play for Gregg…so how do you just make him head coach. The biggest mistake was letting Antonio Pierce go. Williams has an ego that it’s his system not the players that make him so successful…letting Pierce go told a lot of the young guys their hard work to get to the top doesn’t mean crap. Gregg told Snyder we don’t need Pierce and the cash he deserved…we could do fine without him.
3/2005 – Skins lose Pierce to NYG
3/2006 – Lemar Marshall starts
3/2007 – Skins sign Fletcher

Way to go Danny Boy...!!!
You have managed to kill the entire vetted coaching corps. How will we have a team If we have no coach to lead it. What you have done to Zorn will ruin any chances for a decent coach to come here. Sell the team if you care about it at all. At least sell majority to someone who can just sit back and write checks. Keep 49% and sit back and soak up the wealth.
With you at the helm we are all lost.

I'm sure he'll be able to
continue following the Al Davis model and hire a Neanderthal like Crable. HC in the NFL. So easy a caveman can do it.
