Around SBN: VIDEO: Austin Rivers' Buzzer Beater Finishes Off UNC

I just came across this fantastic write-up from fellow SB Nation blog, Arrowhead Pride, from when they were searching for a GM. A couple of the points that stand out, which make me realize Mr. Snyder has 0% chance of acquiring him:

- How well would Polian draft without his team of scouts?
- Colts are fully (and publicly) committed to keeping him
- If he passed on the 49ers, Chiefs and ATL, why would he come to this mess?

It's a shame because that draft resume is outstanding.

It seems we

would have to draft the entire Colts organization as it pertains to player personnel to duplicate their results. If he did come over, he would have to replace our current organization/processes with what they were doing in Indianapolis. This means Snyder will have to give up control, but will still have final say – as Irsay does. Once the organization and processes are restructured, it would be up to Chris to determine who is competent, eg. scouts.

Yea...

There’s no way Bill Polian lets Chris take everyone with him.

I believe

he has his hands full attempting to bring the nation’s black children up by their bootstraps. Sure, not as difficult as dealing with Snyder, but a challenge nonetheless.
