COWGIRLS hate WEEK!!!!!
There is nothing I hate more than a blue and silver star taking up the entire back windshield of a car in an I-66 traffic jam. There is nothing I hate more than anything that has been branded or should I say runined by the mark of the beast. Another thing I HATE (oooops its happiness week) is Jerry "Satan's boss" Jones that damned evil grin he always has. I mean the man just looks evil. Lets not forget boss Hogg in a coaches outfit.. The guy could not coach someone on how to eat an orange. I can not wait until we stomp the crap out of them on their own one point whatever billion dollar field. oh man it will be so great.....
Im gonna make a 5 layer "send ya to the craper" dip and laugh like no sain person has ever laughed before... It will be glorious.....
Take your time... Breath deaply and focus all of you will and anger onto this post.. Just vent and let it flow. (OH MY GOD I SOUND LIKE ZORN).
Like my therapist once said "Tell me whats bothering you" about the DALLAS COWGIRLS

Local Cowgirl fans
I cannot stand them! Seems like the are more fans of being a contrarian or need the attention. They put that lame star on their car, but can’t name all of their starters.
Exactly!!!!!
OMG that pisses me off to….. The jumped on the band wagon in the mid 90s and still think that Emmit Smith is gonna take the MVP again this year…
"When the rich wage WAR its the POOR that die!!!"

Milcmann you have finally given in ...
I love it you are finally becoming a JC 17 fan. I have finally posted enough postive remarks about JC 17 to overcome even your hate. If the President Of the “He Man Hate Jason Campbell Club” can be converted I know their is help for the rest of the JC 17 haters. LOL

Big challenge for the Hoglets this week
I had no idea that Denver’s front 7 was so small. Dallas doesn’t have that problem. Don’t expect Levi Jones and Co to blow open holes at will this week. The running game won’t be as successful as last week (174 yards is ridiculously good). Zorn was pretty cautious about praising how well they played in his radio show so we can be sure they know this current incarnation isn’t perfect. Expect Dallas to come after Jason early and often. We all know that he can get knocked out of it mentally if he’s taking hits.
But I’m confident that we can put together a good game plan to play to our strengths, esp. if all our weapons are ready to step up again. Hopefully we can take advantage of their secondary injuries.
One things for certain, Romo is gonna be hurting too.
good call
I was wondering if anyone was going to point out that Denver was very undersized. At least we came up with a good game plan to run right at them between the tackles and to use play-action to slow down Dumervil. It didn’t seem like we were even game planning with Zorn calling the plays….he kept saying we need to execute better. I keep going back to the CAR game were Zorn asked Heyer to pull to the outside of Peppers and block him on that safety…like if Heyer executed better he could floor Peppers. The game plan verse Denver was great. We have called the play-action pass the last three weeks now from the goal-line, I’m sure Dallas has seen that….hopefully we game plan to switch it up this week.
Peppers is undersized too
If Heyer belongs in this league, he needs to be able to get some kind of push. We’ll know early how well the “50-gut” is working. I hope we can get some screens and maybe even a bootleg, anything to keep them off guard.
I think
the safety play was the stretch to the outside (see link). Heyer does not go right at Peppers, instead he tries to get to the outside for zone blocking. It is not too much to ask Heyer to block Peppers straight on, but I think on this play he is being asked to execute something that he is going to have limited success with.
Brilliant Boo
I read that somewhere earlier this week too, (cant remember where) about how we had like a 30lb per player weight advantage average at the line of scrimmage on Offense, so I researched it and yeah Denver do have relatively small DT and DE, although they make up for this by using their LB’s as their primary attacking defenders (if that makes sense)
this though just helped us as it failed to exploit our seasons main weakness…… the O-Line
still I can see us winning this week again, I really think our Front 4 on D is becoming one of the great units in the NFL and I can see Romo running for his life this week, also, I think the run he did after the Hall Lateral will fire up Landry for this week and he will have a monster game
So whlst the Line remains a concern based on the much heavier Dallas DE’s and DT’s I think Levi has earned our trust for one more week, and from all reports even Rhinehart played well (amazing what a guy can do when a coach isnt talking him down all week leading up to a game, I have always felt that Zorn had something against that poor kid, he is a 3rd pick for f**ks sake we should be encouraging him,,,,,,, anyhoo, I am going to beleive in this O-LIne this week and look forwad to a win
Go Skins!!!!
Pommylee
Yea, Rinehart was a pleasant surprise
Didn’t he struggle the only other time he got the start? Did he ever get it? i can’t remember.
did he play Left Guard????
cos i noticed that a lot of our runs were left (yeah I read the whole play by play sheet every week after the game, lame I know)
Pommylee
not lame.....
it shows what a true fan you are! I have said it before…..I will say it again…..I am sure I am speaking for everyone……we are glad to have you here and will be more than willing to help you get info when we can!
Nah that was Dockery, Rhino was at RG
I really respect your commitment from half a world away Pommy. I was in Denmark in ’06 and only caught a couple games and it was killer, even though we struggled. I did get to see the #21 blocked field goal return against the ’Girls game live. My Danish roommate thought I was nuts. Have you got to see any games live?
U R too kind, but I appreciate it
as for this seasons games none live, I saw the full replay of the MNF eagles game Then I watch any video I can find on the net and wake up at 3am (5am now that Daylight savings time has started) and listen to ESPN980.
We get 2 sunday games Televised and the MNF game every week, but the night games are midday Monday (Sunday night game) and midday Tuesday (MNF) and they have only shown that one Skins game anyway, we get a lot of Vikings and Eagles at the moment.
One thing I suggest just for amusement is to open up to seperate browser windows after the game and read the play by play in one and the HH live game thread in the other and read them together, its hilarious and informative too, but just the flows of
B-RAK!!!!!!!!!!!!
and
WTF!!!!!
and stuff is really funny when you get something like this
NFL site Cartwright 12 yard run left end tackled by Deumervil
but then on HH
you get
ROCK!!!!!!
Damn that was a tough Run!!!!
RooooooooooooooooooooCKKKKKKKKKKK U star!!!!!
and stuff, I like it anyway
but, for our 415 and night games going forward if you ppl could post the link for that justinTV thing it would be great because my work computers are quick enough to run live streaming and I should be able to watch a lot of the game
Thanks again for your kind words, this site truly is a blessing to me
Pommylee
5 am!!!!!?!?!?!
Commissioner Goodell needs to get on board with the international distribution of his product. You might be the craziest NFL fan in the south pacific, but I’m sure you’re not the only one.
Hogs Haven really is awesome. Couldn’t think of a better distraction. I’ll keep an eye out for the justinTV links for you.
If U switched to Saturdays it would be sweet
cos then I could just watch football from %am to 4pm Sundays, but that’ll never happen…
One thing though that I THINK and i must emphasise I am not certain of this that Goodell does well is that I think he forces ESPN and FOX to allow the Free to Air Channels to broadcast the games in Overseas Markets, because for years you could only watch the NFL on cable, except for the Superbowl, cos none of our 5 free to air channels saw any use in broadcasting NFL, but now with Digital free to air we have 15 channels and one of them is a 24hr sports channel and they broadcasts the same games as Cable at the same times live, so I can only imagine that this is because the NFL in an attempt to spread the gospel of the Gridiron has a contract with their broadcast partners that ensures as many potential new customers in Overseas markets see the games as possible
Pommylee
That is good, but clearly not enough to feed the beast
I can’t believe you can’t purchase NFL rewind in your market.
Hopefully you’ll be able to catch another game live. Nothing like that sick-to-the-stomach, cold sweat dripping down the crack of your ass feeling.
dude
dont get me started by NFL rewind, it just makes no sense, I mean there whole advertising campaign seems to be :no matter where you are in the world with NFL rewind and a PC you can see your team, you know with the dude in front of his laptop with Big Ben in the background….. it just makes no sense at all
The year we made the playoffs was the most classic/tragic example of my luck in life, I had cable at the time (my building does not allow cable at the moment) anyway, I had Cable at the time, and we got all 7 of the Skins losses, BUT none of the wins on the run to the playoffs, we got that Thursday game after the funeral of Taylor RIP, which we lost on a missed FG from memory and then nothing for the last 4 weeks,
However there were two replays of the game where the Pats absolutely smashed us and the ’run up the score controversy erupted"
This week, they are showing the Iggles game, BUT NOT the Skins game, because instead of showing a 1pm game this week, they are showing a College game cos they have Nascar at 8am and there is a chance the end of the game will run over the start of NAscar, JUST MADNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pommylee
Why is it
that there are no cowgirl fans over answering questions like the broncos & falcons?? Is this intentional or did I just miss something??
Posts like this
I would assume.
The Knights season may have just ended, but the Cowboys year is just begining!

I think the reason is;
We all know way more than we want to about the damn Cowgirls because the media has a hard on for them, they are our rivals and any post would probably erupt in some not so kind words.
I don't want them here.
I doubt they can operate a keyboard anyway, much less string together a coherent thought.
Oh No!!!
Newcastle Fan and Cowboys……..
I pity you my friend!!!! :)
I’m Roosters and Redskins (and Hawthorn in AFL)
Pommylee
what, the Australina Rugby League team jersey
or the blue and White stripes Nth Melbourne one
and if its hte Nth Melb one
where the hell did you find one of them in the US, they are the least well supported of all the AFL team

Dear Skins fandom:
I was born in 1974 in Oklahoma, a state that loooves football, but has no NFL team. Therefore, about half the residents HATE the cowgirls and half LOVE them because they’re in the general area.
My dear ol’ dad, a 20 yr Army vet, had lived a few yrs near Washington DC in the early 70s and became a SKins fan then, taking my big bro to games, etc.
So when I grew up in the 80s, Dad raised me on the Skins. A great time to be a skins fan. ANd even though I strayed from FB in my teen years, and followed only college in my college years, the skins will always have a special place in my heart.
Plus I was raised to HATE the cowboys.
And thus I conclude with a plea to KILL the freaking c’boys this sunday.
Go SKINS!!
May the wind be always at your back, and may your placekicker have icewater in his veins.
We will do our best!
Strayed from FB???? Looks like you have joined every NFL blog on SB Nation!!!! Favor the Bears and Colts?
The Bears, by marriage
The colts is not such a “team thing”. It’s more that Stampede Blue is a terrific place to chat with football fans on any game. WHen the colts aren’t playing and they’re covering early games, late games, or the Monday game, it’s just a great place to be.
Plus I really admire Vinatieri and Manning.
BTW, congrats on Hunter the Punter. He is an awesome human being.
May the wind be always at your back, and may your placekicker have icewater in his veins.
..and when i say "strayed from FB", I mean, forgot to pay attention
Don’t worry, I recovered.
May the wind be always at your back, and may your placekicker have icewater in his veins.
Be warned the below post is filled with inflamatory comments, read at your own risk
I love how so many of you so called “Redskins fans” hate the Cowboys so much. I live in Redskins country, unfortunately, and it seems as though many of you fans hate the Cowboys more than you actually like the Redskins, it is sad and pathetic.
I love the hate, bring it on, tell me everything you hate about the Cowboys because what I normally hear amounts to hating a team because so many other people like them. That my friends sounds like pure jealousy. I am sorry that the Redskins aren’t any good, their owner is a bigger idiot than ours, their coach sucks, the team is shit and the best fans you had were cross dressers.
Go on calling your self Redskins fans if you want, but the truth is that you are more Cowboys haters than you are Redskins fans. Don’t make any plans for post game celebrations because the game will be over by 2:30 so you can make it to your support groups on time.
Disclaimer-I am not normally this much of an asshole, but I felt the need at the moment
I love it, we need more of this
And I don’t hate the Cowboys, I love them…
I love how they get blown up every single year only to choke when it matters most.
I love how their fans in this area can’t name half the starters.
I love how Tony Romo has an amazing ability to blow games with bone-headed mistakes.
I love how Andre Gurode’s head sounds when it gets stomped on.
I love how Terrence Newman is no where near as good as Cowboys fans think he is.
I love how your traded draft picks to the Lions for Roy Williams.
I love how I could do this all day and it will still be entertaining for me.
The real sad thing is that I know more about the Redskins than most of the “fans” that I live around do, and yet you want to lump all Cowboys fans into this group that is a bunch of bandwagon, know nothing fans. You have no proof of this, none at all and yet this is the main thing you guys want to cling to. Why does it bother you that we have so many fans across the nation? why does it matter that people have never been Texas? is it because there are people who are from DC that chose to be Cowboys fans over Redskins fans and that upsets you? Get over it
I put so much juicy material into that post
and you decided to pick the one thing that didn’t actually comment about the state of your team. So you agree that Romo, Newman, and R. Williams do, in fact, suck ass?
Clearly you are a fan of your team, I’m not gonna call you a bandwagoner or anything like that. Whats wrong with some healthy banter involving generalized stereotyping?
I think rivalries are the best part of sports. Lets embrace it.
PS: Romo sucks.
I love rivalries, and I got into one of your people in pre-season about
who is better than who, and all that, the whole bandwagon not from Texas thing is just a pet peeve of mine.
My question to you is that if Romo, Newman, and Williams suck ass, what must you think of Campbell, Hall (is he even your #1), and Moss because all three Cowboys you named will wipe the floor with your guys.
How can any self-respecting football fan criticize Romo and at the same time like Campbell? My QB is leaps and bounds better than yours and it isn’t even debatable.
Leaps and bounds?
Its tough to compare Moss and Williams cause they are completely different types of receivers, but I’m more than happy to point to Moss’ track record against the Cowboys. He’s a playmaker, and doesn’t bitch about wanting Romo to put balls in his hands then dropping them.
I’m also happy to compare Hall and Newman. Both make plays occasionally. I wouldn’t trust either one to shut down a receiver.
And I love Campbell. He’s a class act and a pleasure to root for. Plus he’s won just as many playoff games as Romo. Its too bad he has been too abused to have a productive career in Washington.
Romo has had some big games. He is frustratingly elusive and ridiculously lucky. That play against Washington in ’07 when Gurode hiked the ball over his head, Romo ran back, caught it off the bounce and converted the first down made me want to vomit. Thankfully, for every one of those, there is a bungled snap on an extra point and a crunch-time interception.
With Jason, you know exactly what you are going to get: indecision and inaccuracy, sure, but also toughness, consistency, good decision-making, and a charming southern accent.
you do realize
you just made LJP JIMP, right?

LJP U will love
the Len Pasquetielli article about JC written in the last couple of days after the Carolina game.
He basically says that whichever team takes him next year will be getting a bargain, pointing our that it is almost unprecedented for a QB with Jasons Youth, Experience (in terms of NFL starts) and potential to come on the FA market
very good article
Pommylee
Thanks for the heads up....
I read it a couple of days ago.

not only as he won as many
And I love Campbell. He’s a class act and a pleasure to root for. Plus he’s won just as many playoff games as Romo
I dont recall Campbell actively losing a Playoff game by botching just about the simplest play in Football, catching an long snap for a PAT
Pommylee
we can do better than that
there’s so much material to work with. For god sakes, their QB is Tony Romo!
Real mature
Now you are going to come out with gay jokes? That maybe cool in middle school, but when grown ups are talking you should leave that shit at home
and adults resort to cussin at their kids because they’re angry with them?
Your childhood must have sucked.
SpotieOtieDopalicious
Let me dumb it down for you then
Mr. Cowgirls fan, when you replied to boos comment about you liking to go spelunking in assholes, you tried to imply that he was a child for making gay jokes and that when “grown ups” are talking,
you should leave that shit at home
Now, that’s not how grown ups usually talk to kids in normal society, but far be it for me to judge your home life seeing as how I don’t know you. So excuse me for the assumption, but the implications of your reply made me think.
I’m sorry if I hurt your feelings.
SpotieOtieDopalicious
No hurt feelings here
you couldn’t if you tried. But if you want to get into those semantics, I am pretty sure that shvh98z24 is not actually a child, nor did I call him/her one, just that he made a middle school joke. By grown ups I was implying a maturity level not actual age. Secondly, saying “that shit” in my mind is not cussin at someone, it is using a curse word in conversation, but not directing it at a person. If I called him a shit or something like that I would have been cussin at him.
Nonetheless, if I offended your sensitive eyes with a swear word I am sorry for that.
thank you for your thoughfulness
but if you really wanted to apologize, you could just leave.
SpotieOtieDopalicious
leaving would defeat the purpose of this post wouldn't it?
You want to talk about all the things you hate about Dallas, I want to tell you why you are wrong.
but seriously would you went to VA Tech would you be a UVA fan?
Same thing as if your raised in VA why would you be a Dallas fan, it’s ROOT ROOT ROOT For the home team not Always cheer the best team on because your too emotionally insecure to win and lose with a team
I was am an Army brat
with my parents being from Texas, so my dad was raised a Cowboys fan, and so were me and my brothers. But I live in Virginia now and you bet that when I have kids they will be raised Cowboys fans, what does that make them? I think this sort of situation is what you find a lot all over the country (military or otherwise) with kids following their dads, why are they less of a fan?
but i know
several dallas fans with no tie to the area at all who are in my eyes complete d-bags for liking only the teams that were winning when they started watching various sports.
in all fairness
I know plenty of Redskins fans that live in Va and have been fans their whole lives are d-bags too, every team has them
I've met plenty of fine, upstanding people
who were Cowgirls fans.
That simply made them d-bags on Sundays, a few Mondays, and whenever football was discussed.
in all seriousness
good luck this weekend, I just don’t see it happening with us just losing to Green Bay, the boys will be hungry. But good luck
Where to Begin...
Thanks Boo,
I love how none of them have ever been to Texas let alone Dallas
I love how you can’t walk ten feet in a trailer park without spotting a dallas cowboys starter jacket draped over a toothless bleach blond booty short wearing fat white girl guy.
I love
My turn
I love how they always claim that they’re family is from Texas when you ask how they love a team from an area they’ve never been to.
SpotieOtieDopalicious
Why does it matter to you?
Why do you care about the reasons people are a fan of a particular team?
I can guarantee you wouldn’t care if someone from DC was a Browns’ fan, you just can’t stand that more people cheer for the Cowboys than any other professional team in the country.
It's because dallas fans also happen to be
Yankee’s, Lakers and fans of band wagons
Why do you care...
that we hate the Cowboys? If it is fair for someone to love a team from a state they have never been to….it is fair for us to hate whomever we want! Just the same…..Cowboys fans hate us!
I reserve the right to hate anyone
regardless of race, sex, nationality, fan affiliation or level of douchebagness.
Don’t F’ with my right to hate!
i think
he just needs to readjust his sarca-meter.
SpotieOtieDopalicious
pretty much
doesn’t look anywhere near as cool though
SpotieOtieDopalicious
I like that you hate the Cowboys
why wouldn’t you? I wish you would have a better reason than where the fans are from.
btw i know your not i checked your profile
your just an idiot for wondering why fans of two teams with one of the biggest rivalries hate each other. it’s going to take a team of monkey working around the clock to figure that mistery out
I know that these teams hate each other, but hating fans of a team for the reason that you assume they are all bandwagon fans doesn’t sit well with me, the guys at BGN do it all the time. I don’t look at any Redskins, Eagles, or Giants fans as bandwagon fans, but yet I still muster the energy to hate those teams just the same.
I actually think that the Steelers
are the current bandwagon team. If someone jumped on the Cowboys bandwagon, then I commend them for sticking with a team that hasn’t won a playoff game since 1996.
Steelers Fans
Are everywhere because when they shut down the big steel mills in the 80’s and the cities population has been shrinking ever since, so when joe six pack moved to a new city he brought his fandom with him.
That could account for some
but not the majority. I know several bandwagon passengers whose family history has jack shit to do with joe six pack getting burned in the steel mill.
70's SBs
I think it also has to do with them winning the SB three times in the 70’s. Plus they are considered a blue-collar team, which helps people relate to them more easily.
the 70's thing would be it
so watch for a generation of 49ers and Cowboys bandwagon fans to be coming through in the next decade
Here in Australia in the AFL my team Hawthorn won a whole bunch of Premierships in the eighties and in the mid-mineties they were almost forced out of existence with a small membership base and a lot of debts, but they hung on, a couple of rich supporters kicked some money in to keep them going and now they have the biggest Membership Base in the AFL because all them kids who supported them because they won in the eighties are now in their late 20’s early 30’s and are fully paid up members of the club
Pommylee
do you feel better about yourself yet?
SpotieOtieDopalicious
Whats the difference between...
A Cowboys fan and a relapsed drunkard???
One’s on the band wagon the other fell off!

BREAKING NEWS!!!
Washington Redskins football practice was delayed nearly two hours today after a player reportedly found an unknown white powdery substance on the field. Jim Zorn suspended practice and called federal investigators. After analysis, forensics determined the white substance unknown to players was the GOAL LINE. Practice resumed after agents decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again.
