Around SBN: Jerry Sandusky's Wife Tries To Run A Reporter Over

ESPN announced this morning that it has reached a multiyear extension with Gruden.

This is good news for Redskins' fans in my opinion. I have heard all negative things regarding his coaching style (future post on that coming).

Awesome.

We’re one step closer to Russ Grimm.

Good thing too

He won the super bowl one year removed from Tony Dungy. After that the buccaneers went to mediocre then to the crapper. I wonder what will happen to Jim Caldwell when/if the honeymoon ends for the Colts (big difference there is Peyton. He goes as the Colts go).

Kind of like

Glad to hear it

but contracts can be broken. Could just be a way of driving up his price; not to mention covering his bases.

I am probably wrong

but I imagine that Gruden has an escape clause in his contract if a head coaching gig comes up, and this might just be some free publicity for ESPN on a week with a dreadful MNF game

I was trying to come up with.

BIG UPDATE:

Jon Gruden has a no-exit clause in his new ESPN contract for year 2010….he’s definitely not coming to WAS next year.

Saves us

a lot of fretting and complaining – not to mention the addition of 2 more years to the current nightmare.
