The Who?
Why is half-time now the reunion show for washed up rock bands from the 80’s? Remember when it was actually fun to watch? Thanks, Janet.

The Who
80’s ? Might want to really look at the History again.
Of course if the “Rock bands” did not continue to sell out concerts, have Broadway plays launched succesfully in the 90s derived from their music of the early 70s, they would fade away and never be heard from again
Janet did what? With whom?

Sounds like you just
defined “Classic Rock.”

I was thinking of Springsteen when I said 80's.
But that’s beside the point. The halftime show used to showcase the “it” performers of the time. It’s the only reason (and commercials) my girlfriends would ever agree to watch it with me. There’s no way I can use those excuses anymore.

NO! stay with you just misunderstood which generation.
But please please don’t place Springsteen and The Who in the same Thought!
My daughters, and their friends will watch the Superbowl now just to see Who perform; thinking you may need to upgrade :)

I’m a huge The Who fan, actually. I even went to see Tommy. But I still think the Superbowl halftime show should depict modern music. A Jay-Z, Rihanna, Beyonce halftime show would be huge. Throw in someone like Taylor Swift and The Killers, and you’d have a half-time show that was as big as the game itself (to some), like it use to be.

Add
Social Distortion and/or Arcade Fire to the Ks. Leave all that pop, rap and crap at home.

My bad
Up to, and including Janet’s boob was entertaining. Now we get to watch a bunch of senior citizens hobble around the stage (sorry to Springsteen and the Who and Aerosmith, but that had they’re time. Back in the day).

Definitely
I would much rather have more wardrobe malfunctions.

Well I definitely
Don’t want to see any wardrobe malfunctions from groups like The Who.
Come to think of it, who in the hell is The Who?

They were
a defining rock band that were way ahead of their time. As you can tell from their name, they invented Alzheimer’s.

It has been too long a time
since I really felt we could compete with the best in the league and seriously expect to go out and win a SB.
